Why shouldn’t they leave; Brit Hume declared victory last week.

  2. Oval12345678 aka James K. Sayre says:

Why are all of these so-called “withdrawals” always set at some time in the indefinite future? Total withdrawal now! Stop BSing around…

  3. toasterhead says:

Poland had troops in Iraq? I completely forgot.

  4. Krazny says:

Hey Poland was #3 right behind the UK when the rightards were listing all of the countries in the coalition of the willing tm.

  5. The Republic of Stupidity says:

    The Coalition of the Leaving?

Are the Togans still there? The Albanians?

And what about that platoon of Spanish paella cooks?

  6. Badger says:

Since the Brittish have stopped patroling the streets of Basra, violence is DOWN 90%. Troops withdraw: Violence Decreases

it has a nice ring to it.

  7. Starve-A-Bush_Feed-A-Beaver says:

That brings a little tear to my eye and reminds me of that famous romantic scene from the movie Casablanca, where George Bush and Tony Blair said good-bye at the airport:

“We’ll always have Poland. We didn’t have, we, we lost it until we got it back last night.”

  8. pete says:

It’s official. Americans (at least our elected officials) are dumber than “Polacks”.

  9. MapleStreet says:

Dumb Question: If we need X number of troops for “our mission” (whatever that is), and Poland withdraws 900 and Britain (who had been bulldoging an entire region) has withdrawn their troops, etc. etc.

Doesn’t that mean that we will have to get more troops from somewhere to make up for the loss and reach our quota ?

Syria and Jordan are not renewing Iraqi visa and sending the Iraq people back to Iraq. Now the collision of a welling are leaving faster then you can say Turkey. The US spin is on as the lies as to why this is happen are again made to trick the American people. Yes Bush/Cheney say we won but won what?
Cheney didn’t get his oil rights from Iraq and Israel didn’t get land they can call their own. Israel is still sitting on Palestinian land for as Israel say 60 years now.
I guess the President of Iran thought Americans had read the history of 1947 when the US/UK asked the UN if Jewish refugees could allowed to live in a part of Palestine land until they found a real home. Sorry I forgot Americans don’t read American history they watch movies to get that education. Well for those who are interested in reading it’s in the history books. But I must say 1947 was a good year for both myself and the Jewish people. I was born that year and the Jewish people settle on Palestine land that your. Check out the ads of Israel’s 60th anniversary if you don’t want to read.

the second largest membership of the coalition of the willing has always been paid contractors. At some point, I’m sure blackwater et al will be number one in the coalition.

  12. Coffins Draped with a Flag says:

Damn… there goes Poland. Now what is the coward Bush going to do? Next thing you know, one of those tiny Pacific islands will be pulling out their single troop. Then coward Bush will be up a creek without a paddle

  13. RUCerious says:

Which Pole is Bush going to polish now?

  14. Juan C. says:

Good thing, we still have Palau there.

  15. Luis M says:

Hey don’t forget Iceland. They contributed troops as well. It was only a pair of troops but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?

  16. Zooey says:

    Oh no!!

    Not Poland!

  17. Zooey says:

    The Chimp must be devastated…

  18. djames says:

Next step is Rudd winning resulting in the withdrawal of Australian troops from Iraq.

    Which will probably be …tomorrow.
