Always wrong, never in doubt.
“Rudy Giuliani said yesterday he ‘never had any doubt‘ that if he were President four years ago, he would have invaded Iraq. He said he is now ‘even more certain’ that it was the correct national security move.” Rudy then kicked it up yet another notch: “I actually believe that Democrats are going to agree with me on that by the time we get to the general election.”

It seems to me that Giuliani is still living in the post-9/11 days when he was a media darling and he could say any stupid thing and people would hang on it like it was gospel.
But he’s dreaming if he thinks that 1) a populace, 75% of whom oppose the war, will elect him as their president, and 2) that he thinks he will be able to convince a war-weary nation that our occupation of Iraq is a wonderful thing.
Unless he knows something we don’t. Is there an Iraqi terrorist force out there somewhere poised to blow up the Empire State Building? Sears Tower? Disneyland? Only another terrorist attack could galvanize a warmonger’s candidacy, and this scares me somewhat.

What exactly, beyond republican talking points, do you find objectionable about Hillary? Really. She is not my favorite canaditate, by far, but I will vote for her rather than stay home on election day.

November 27th, 2007 at 1:21 pmIt seems to me that it would be political suicide at this time for a candidate to say he would have invaded Iraq too. In 2003 that would fly pretty well, but not now. Iraq was not a threat in any way at all. They had nothing to do with 9/11. They had no WMD. There simply was no reason to invade, force regime change, and stay permanently in a nation-building capacity.

Well she’s worse than an empty suit in Washington. She’s a carpetbagger. As a Senator she has done NOTHING for our state. She doesn’t even give the appearance of doing diddles.
She doesn’t do her job. Clinton’s an opportunist that took the title for her presidential ambitions. I do not like her. A lot of politically active people in NY do not like her.

Her level of personal authenticity is non-existent and she’s a flipflopping puppet ready to acquiesce to whatever the prevailing breeze appears to be. Case in point was her flipflop on the issuance of driver’s licenses to illegal aliens in HER STATE. In the one debate, she answered honestly and realized that she was contradicting herself and suffered greatly in the polls for it. In the next debate, her monosyllabic answer of “No” only made it worse. The horse was out of the gate and there’s no reruns.

Yea, Veritas and Austex, I have a real problem when the kids not only dislike him, they are open about it.
Even Ronnie Raygunz kids (2 out of 3, anyway), waited til he was not running before they got too carried away, publicly.
