Open your eyes and see past the 1 liners. This guy is not what America needs. Do not let your religious beliefs cloud your clear thinking. He left Arkansa in a mess. He is not qualified for the job. check out taxhikemike.org. He sucks up to varios causes & groups to gain popularity. He may be cleaver, but he most definitely is not smart. He is not being honest with America. Don’t fall for the one liners and get fooled. Didn’t we learn our lesson already. The next one will be much worse. Please find another candidate to support.

Wayne S., you certainly must know that being incompetent and/or ignorant is the number one qualification for Republican office nowadays. In that sense, Huckabee, the candidate favored by Tracy2 troll, is perfectly qualified.

#118: So the big story here is that a candidate busy making 15 + campaign stops a day had not yet had time to read a report that had come out just one day prior? So what. Heâ€™s a recently surging candidate with a small staff of advisors. When he is president, he will have a large team of people to advise him of such things as they happen.

A candidate does not need “a large team of people” in order to read the newspaper. If he does (as is the case, for example, for the current White House occupant), then he probably shouldn’t be President of the United States.

It’s “obviously biased” for you, Frank, because anything that doesn’t conform to your preconceived notions must be biased. I’m sure you’re one of the true believers who still thinks that Saddam Hussein had nuclear weapons.

You may be correct, though, that this won’t hurt Huckabee in the GOP primaries. Most Republicans (including yourself) don’t care about facts–they care only about how to quickly and efficiently start the next war.
