Second, I lost my summer job to ILLEGAL aliens while in college installing windows forcing me to take out more student loans my Senior year. I saw my old boss driving in a new Lexus a couple of months after being laid off for lack of work. Illegals are some of the hardest working people I’ve ever seen, but THEY ARE ILLEGAL! After college my IT degree became about useless in part because of all the H1Bs and outsourcing. My salary has declined from $120k/yr. to $50k and am still saddled with tens of thousands of student loans.

I always thought the Dems were supposed to be for the working stiffs like me, I never understood why they support the illegals.

In most Western European countries children are REQUIRED to learn at least one other language. The ex patriots from this country are not interested in becoming citizens. They are interested in finding a place where they can live cheaply and take advantage of the poor nation they are living in. They love having a maid who will work for $5.00 a day and they love their cheap drinks in the local bars. They also like the low-cost medical care they can get in Mexico. All in all, they take advantage of the country they are in and contribute very little to it.

So, you say they put up signs in English to accommodate the tourists, do we do that here? We used to get millions of Japanese and Chinese tourists in this country every year (but not since Bush is on his scare tear) but do you see signs in those languages to accommodate the tourists?

Sorry, this will only work if the immigrant has been legally hired. If they were hired using a false social security number (like most do), they would not be able to file for the EIC.

Uh oh…that’s exactly what the “powers that be” don’t want to happen. It would be very easy for the companies who hire undocumented workers to lobby for a guest worker program so that they could hire them legally. But they don’t want to hire them legally. If they did they would 1) lose their power over the worker (you know, do what I tell you or I’ll turn you over to immigration, 2) pay them a decent wage and 3) run the risk that they will do what you are saying.

And other states have dropped it saying it was a nightmare.

Non-citizens have a different form to use for requesting 1) rapid refund and 2) EIC. This was two years ago and I am trying to remember the code number. But the rapid return was for $2,000 and sent to Mexico. We have an agreement with Canada and Mexico.
