A more apt analog of the jihadists is found right here at home. We have a very healthy number of people who belong to radical groups of one stripe or another, who advocate "changes" ranging from extermination of particular races to the overthrow of our own Government. It would be a mistake to conclude that, based on their existence and activities that the whole of our Country consists of such people, or that such people were a serious threat to anyone anywhere (other than the occasional black or gay person, or Planned Parenthood Dr. (or oklahoma federal building)). Pointing to the radical fringe in some other Country does not permit the broad generalizations that make "that whole part of the world" a "grave and imminent threat" to us.
