I don’t believe that Breaux or Lott is so stupid as to not know that information like this – proving the disingenuousness and deceit of Lott – would become public knowledge.
I think it is more a case of they “don’t give a sh*t” because they can do what they will do, and it doesn’t make any difference if they are unethical – the people with whom they will do business are also unethical – this is just business between friends.
That immoral, unethical racist, Trent Lott and his crony John Breaux — two rotten peas in a pod.

Maybe I’m missing something, but wouldn’t you think that Trent Lott’s son would have reserved “LottBreaux.com” rather than (or in addition to) BreauxLott.com.

Just a random thought here that probably wouldn’t work for several reasons, but as Lott’s retiring at the end of this year to avoid the new law that begins next year requiring a two-year gap between serving in the Senate and jumping into lobbying world, could a wrench possibly be throw into his scheme if a special but brief session in the Seante were to be opened on, say, the 31st and did not end until after midnight? Wouldn’t that technically move him into the no-no zone?

Anyone see the Lewis Black special on Com Central? It was great!

He started off explaining the show was ‘07 in review. Then he explained it would take the whole show to just review Bush’s phuck-ups. Eventually they ended up in Bush’s ass & found the Constitution, the aluminum tubes from Niger, WMD and some of Cheney’s things.

Lott fits Bush’s regime well, but money talks. He stands to make a fortune in just a few years with K Street. DeLay does, too.

They show their ‘family & moral values’ are always subject to change. Monetary ‘change’, that is.

Good grief, if no one cares about the Bush administration’s blatant disregard for the rules of the US (AKA the Constitution of the United States of America), who is going to concern themselves with some US Senator breaking some obscure senate rule? There’s a simple explanation:

This is the free market.

You see, Daddy told Chet that he was thinking of leaving the Senate. And Chet, being the born-and-bred laissez-faire ace pilot (just check out that picture on his website if you don’t believe me), took a shot and registered breauxlott.com in the off chance that Daddy would want to hook up with his old buddy and trade off their names and connections.

Now Chet, having spent 19.95 registering breauxlott.com stands to make a killing when Daddy and his friend buy the domain off of him for 250 large. Then watch Daddy lobby like crazy to have inheritance tax abolished, and Chet wins again. Finally, he writes a song about how he’s a self-made millionaire, and his life’s work is complete.

And this proves Wingnut Rule #2 – When you get rich, it’s because of the free market. (And don’t let the nasty facts tell you differently.)

Lott has already noted that the Dems aren’t going to do a thing to stop any Republican from breaking any rules or laws. Heck, they can go out and commit crimes with impunity and the worst the Dems will do is send a stern letter.
