Frank seems to think that when a general is forced to make a difficult decision that he knows will cost the lives of some of his men in order to accomplish a greater military objective, he's exhibiting "ruthlessness". In other words, rather than backtrack a half step and admit that his earlier statement about every leader being "ruthless" was foolish, Frank is predictably trapped into extending his foolishness. I don’t think he should shut up or be silenced. I do believe that he should tell the truth, though. And to O’Reilly, truth is what he says it is, not what is real.
