I know it’s not good form to call someone Hitleresse or Third Reich or even Benito like. But this Faux thing constantly is much like what happened earlier in the 20s and 30s of the last century.

Besides not working with Faux, not shopping their advertisors, what else can be done.

When will man finally rise above the nation state and tribalism and embrace compassion ? When will leaders finally abandon their sad political calculations and place beauty above money, for the benefit of our citizenry and humanity ?

ANOTHER reason to contribute heavily to MoveOn.Org. I hope the MSM finally stops referring to Lieberman as a Democrat, and holding him out to be some kind of maverick because he disagrees with everything Democrats traditionally stood for.

Now, if only we and MoveOn.Org can get the rest of the DINOs out of the party, we might see some real opposition to the bush cabal…

Israel is poorly served through neoconservatism as are American interests. Support of Israel is not tacit support of military solutions to age old problems . Love conquers hate , missiles planted in the battle field will grow enemies and hatred and the world is too small for such solutions and life too precious .
Tribalism whether American ot Israeli is not an affirmation of America’s most sacred ideal , that behind differing customs , languages and religions we are all more or less the same and can live in peace together , to our mutual benefit .
New york ’s multi culturalism is the home of the united nations as this country is a melting pot for all peoples who seek freedom and human dignity on this our small earth which it will be remembered for long after 911.We owe our allegiance to Israel AND Palestine . The Iraqi’s who have suffered in this debacle are our brothers and sisters as well .
Let joe lieberman bang the war drums for neoconservativism without the support of the democratic party . Why does he have a chair persons position in the US senate at all ?

Bob Beckel seems to have a fundamental misunderstanding about what democracy is. Lieberman didn’t get driven out of the party by Move On. He got driven out by voters who chose to nominate someone else.

Perhaps I need to be a little more nuanced in my statements:

dailKos, myDD and TP have many liberal posters who are anti-semetic, anti-Zionist or both. That is why the percentage of Jews who voted for Republicans has increased to 25% in 2006, and will be much higher in the next election.

Keep up the good work. Oh, if you don’t believe me, just ask Harold Ford, who called that pussy Kos out on the topic in a debate, and Kos could only state that he can’t control what others post on his blog.

Lieberman was a pain in the ass to the progressives in the Democratic party LONG before MoveOn got around to mounting an offensive against him. And it never “drove him out of the party.” He was a traitor to the Democratic party and to the Democratic electorate. The rethugs can have this sorry sack of excrement. They deserve him.

Lieberman admitted that McCain ASKED him for his endorsement. It’s not like his endorsement of any DEM would help their campaigns. Plus, how is Joe’s “popularity” swaying ANYONE yet alone those independents that purportedly this endorsement targets?

Just another of Joe’s attempts at being significant. As many have pointed out, Joeâ€™s positions have been counter to the DEM party for a few years already, especially with regard to Iraq. He only changed his tune on that issue (â€œ”No one wants to end the war in Iraq more than I do,” said Lieberman Oct 23, 2006) late in the election cycle. Only to change his position back to support Bushâ€™s open ended occupation after he won with Republican support, including $$$ and the ignoring of the chosen R candidate by the national GOP. Of course, righteous Joe claims the high ground on his own â€œprinciplesâ€, when in fact, he LIED to his CT constituents in order to self preserve in the Senate race.
