In yesterday’s appropriations bill, Dems favored more money for veterans’ care and Repubs opposed (as always). The trouble at Walter Reed was caused by this administration’s privatizing with a crony corporation.

I was banned from RedState after a single post. Two words. “What WMD’s?”
You know we are in trouble when questions are banned from public forums.

There are none. The minute you post a dissenting opinion you are banned from the site. And the Republiscum sites are more efficient than TP. They use the IP address so you can’t just go get another e-mail address and re-register.

Let me answer it this way.
I tried to sign up after 9/11, to go help get Osama but they didn’t want me I was “too old” and my injury. =P

I knew they probably wouldn’t but I tried anyway.
So yeah, I would do it over again.

I still think Afghanistan needed to happen, But frankly Bush has totally fcked up the whole region with his idiotic execution of the war. And invading Iraq for WMDs they made up and bald faced lied to us about. The reasons we didn’t take out Saddam in 91, happened, only made worst by utter military idiocy.

Right after the election of 2004 ( they waited until after Bush won ) They dropped a white phosphorous burst over Fallujah, killing civilians, the elderly, women, children.
If the initial combustion when it sucked all of the oxygen didn’t kill them right off, the phosphorous melting their skin off finished the job.
Frankly, melting the skin off babies never endears an occupied civilian population.

Think about it for a minute…..Turn it around……
What if a foreign force occupying the US had done that to the town, your Mom lives in?
What would you do?

What do you think that made the Iraqi civilians want to do?

Thats just one way they boosted the insurgency, and the pictures that got out, even though the Bush Administration tried to censor horrified and pissed off even some of our allies.
Abu-Grabass was another debacle.

I can list alot more strategic mistakes made in Iraq, but it would take all night typing.

You realize the Republican Congress ended the yearly meetings with veteran groups, to hear their grievances after a half a century, to as they said “To avoid embarrasing the President” WTF?

Finally the media has broken some of the stuff that went on.
I debated with Exley about veteran treatment well over a year ago. He never has come back to admit he was wrong, after the MSM finally broke it open.

All I can say, if you are a veteran, you need to take a very close look at the way Bush has been treating your brothers and sisters in arms.
It is not right and there is no excuse in the world that can make it right.

This post just goes to show how out of touch with reality this troll is. He thinks that 28% is most Americans. It isn’t even most Republiscums.

That was a good mission IMHO.

1982-1991, 82nd Airborne, 2nd Brigade, did several combat missions, some “under the radar”, getting my leg shattered in Desert Storm ended my military career.

Perhaps this is a question better asked of the family’s who have lost their loved ones in Iraq because of George Bush’s lies, eh? Frankly, I think Americans killed by an unnecessary war that was waged after a pack of lies was sold to the American public trumps a president getting a blow-job from a fat broad, or any purported missing furniture. I won’t wish you a merry Christmas GIRL, but I will wish a prison term on your a$$ based on your treason. You are a traitor to the United States and sadly you are too stupid to be ashamed of yourself.
