The Bushes’ Christmas Day feast.

By Faiz Shakir on Dec 25th, 2007 at 10:58 am

The Bushes’ Christmas Day feast.

AP reports President Bush and his family are celebrating Christmas at Camp David, along with Laura Bush’s mother, Jenna Welch; the president’s sister, Doro Bush Koch, and her family; and the president’s brother, Marvin, and his family. “The Christmas Day lunch menu called for roast turkey, cornbread dressing, green beans, sweet potato casserole, fruit salad, pumpkin and pecan pies and red velvet cake.”

    We want pretzels!!

Red velvet cake to symbolize all the blood on his hands?

So what did the first mother in law do to get an invite? Run over her boyfriend?

Bush eats “Velvet Cake” while some disabled, unemployed veterans ask for help on street corners to get enough change for a “Big Mac”.

These people feel no shame, Wayne. It’s the only way they can continue “functioning”, if you want to call it that.

  6. jurassicpork says:

We here at Pottersville agree that Christmas has become too commercialized and that we tend to forget in the hyped-up hoopla of getting and spending the fundamental, original meaning of Christmas.

In this spirit, my lib’ral cronies and I have decided to celebrate Xmas at Pottersville in a more dignified and less profane manner by presenting the liberal’s version of Jesus Christ Superstar, or Dubya Bush Superstar.

  7. Godfry Daniel says:

And why should I care about this?

  8. dbadass says:

Doro Bush Koch? Is that a joke name? Will Adolf Oliver Nipples be attending also?

Yeah, I know, thats why Republicans think the term “bleeding heart liberal” is derogatory. Caring about someone else is an antithesis to the Republicans belief system.

So that’s what the Anti-Christ family eats on Jesus’s Birthday.

  11. fuzz19601 says:

May God Bless our President and his family! In this day of reflection we still need to be human and understanding with focus on forgiveness. I continue to try to forgive the President for his many misgivings and pray that he may find the wisdom to change many of his policies. It is hard to continue to pray for forgiveness when he seems to insulate himself from god like values. He continues to be the worst administration in the history, but I still pray for him and his family. May God bless our Nation, our troops and all of our leaders!

now you’re talking bush family style christmas, yeeee haw!

  17. Marie says:

Ah, yes, the Bushies enjoy Christmas oblivious to the pain and suffering their reign in the White House has given to everyone else.

What’s the red velvet cake – a symbol of the bloodshed they’ve caused? Or of the bloodless hearts within them?

  18. Ben Dover says:

And I’m sure that Bush being the compassionate conservative that he is, will bring the left overs back to DC with him and then personally walk over to Lafayette Park to serve a belated Christmas lunch to all the homeless people living within meters of him and the frigid first lady.

  22. Jackie says:

Well I’m sure Barbara Bush is glad her husband is spending time with her and not Terry Hatcher or his

thanks for pushing Laura to stay in the fake marriage.
It’s good to print what the President and his family are
having as we see more Americans without homes food and jobs. Yes of course the troops that did make it back to the USA are now homeless. God can’t bless
    America because Satan’s in charge.

    Read my whole comment.

You left out the part where I stated:
“Yeah, I know, thats why Republicans think the term “bleeding heart liberal” is derogatory.”

What is YOUR explanation of why “bleeding heart” which means someone who cares, is a bad thing to Republicans?

Next time don’t base your argument out of the context written.

  31. Lora says:

There you have, it, Cap. Mantastic. This thread is just used by some as another forum to hope and pray for our elected President to die.
    Merry Christmas!
    Comment by O. Bigfoot

    No, Mr. Foot-in-the-Mouth,
We don’t want the (un)elected president to die; that would make Dickhead Cheney officially commander-in-chief. Darth Cheney is the greatest insurance that Dumbya won’t get shot.
    Happy holidays.

  32. joe cantwell says:

  33. Sabyen91 says:

“Okay, Wayne. I’ll concede your point. Now answer me this:

What’s the point of the whole thread? What’s the purpose?”

You conceded a point when Wayne was asking for an answer?

  34. Sabyen91 says:

“Oh, and joe c. gotcha how? Dixie blood is wishing for our elected, yes, elected President to choke to death. Perfect example of leftwing kook hatred.”

Because…LFG and freeperland is all roses and candy, right?

  35. Jeremy in Denver says:

Yep. Sometimes I wonder if the assinine posts aren’t right-wing plants trying to make us look bad. Oh, O.Bigfoot and Capt.Mantastic, no, I do not wish Bush to choke on his food. Such a thing would deprive the world of justice. No, ideally, I’d like to see Bush brought before an international tribunal similar to the ones that convicted and hanged the leaders of Japan and Germany after World War II to answer for his behavior out of this country, then brought before a (non-sympathetic right-wing kook ran) local court to answer for his behavior inside this country. Anything less, including an assassin’s bullet, makes him a martyr to your cause and puts a much more dangerous man in his place, Cheney.

  36. Sabyen91 says:

Jeremy, I love your name. I don’t think Cheney is more dangerous. Nobody likes that Richard and wouldn’t have a problem with the wilting Dems stopping his agenda.

  37. Lora says:

Oh, and joe c. gotcha how? Dixie blood is wishing for our elected, yes, elected President to choke to death. Perfect example of leftwing kook hatred.
    Merry Christmas!
    Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 25, 2007 @ 10:08 pm

    Foot-in-the-Mouth,
Actually I must admit that I skipped over Dixie Blood’s post, but she/he is just one anonymous person on a blog. A much more famous example of vile rightwing hatred is Ann Coulter’s very public wish that someone would put rat poison in Justice Stevens’ creme brulee or her declaration that if she were president, she would have all liberals deported. Moreover, the fact is you are here to post your disdian for and dislike of people on the left, plain and simple.
By contrast, I don’t try to post on rightwing blogs because I try to avoid expressing disdain and hatred as much as possible. Besides, I hear that the rightwing blogs don’t allow contrary opinions in the first place. In other words, if I tried to post the liberal equivalent of all your drivel here, I’d quickly be banned. I could go on and on; but in the holiday spirit, I will stop here.

  38. Lora says:

So, exactly how does that make dixie blood’s post O.K.?
    Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 26, 2007 @ 1:54 am

    Bigfoot-in-the-mouth
Please tell me where I said that dixie blood’s post is okay. My point was that, despite your assertions about the so-called kookie left, there is, in fact, a lot of hate on the right, as exemplified by Ann-thrax Coulter and your own silly self.

  39. jaxvon says:

This is news how? I eat a much larger feast with my “middle class” family every year at Christmas. To be honest, I’m surprised by how small it is. Was I supposed to be outraged?

  40. bernard quatermass says:

“another forum to hope and pray for our elected President to die”

Not here. I don’t “pray” as it would be silly to send a message to an absent recipient. And I don’t hope GWB dies, as that would constitute an end to suffering, which I would like to think he will have in abundance.

Oh, and shove your Merry Christmas, a-hole.

  41. deebaser says:

Even complete jerks get to have Christmas dinner.

  43. Leftside Annie says:

p.s. Obigfat – I wouldn’t be the least bit upset if Chimpy *did* choke to death. He deserves all that – and more – for all the blood he has spilled.

  44. AmandaBlow says:

what a dumb post! Who cares about what this devil worshipping family eats during the holidays?

  45. Cal Malenky says:

  46. Leftside Annie says:

Eat sh*t, Obigfat. I’m not ashamed in the least. Why don’t you have a pretzel and die?

  47. andy42302 says:

Mr. O. Bigfoot, you come here chastising Bernard and Leftside Annie in an authoritative manner. You’ve stated
that (post 210) “I’ll choose to answer what I want, when I want, in the way I want”. You’re what I refer to as a throw-a-rock-and-run blogger who offers nothing to the debate other than an intrusion to others thoughts. When called out, you buckle at the knees and claim the right to say whatever you want and then duck away in seclusion. You audaciously come back with a demand that other posts withstand scrutiny yet you demand the right that yours remain unaccountable. I suppose you have that right, just as in real life, ones has a right to be little more than an oxygen thief if they so choose.

  48. andy42302 says:

    My bad. that should have been post 201 instead of 210. For fear of screwing it up again, it read as follows;

“Uh, Mr. Bigfoot, if you choose to respond(149) to my post(136) and to include my name, please respond to the content of my post and not go into a rant over one sentence that you take out of context. Your comments reveal your abandonment of reason and reasoned debate in favor of diatribe and arrogance. Anyone who disagrees with you must be a traitor or disloyal or defeatist. You failed to contradict a single point of mine. As usual, defenders of the empire ignore the arguments of those on the other side and instead choose to create their own argument out of thin air. Then, after supposedly “winning” their fabricated argument, they feel they can dismiss the opponent with contempt. It’s boring and counterproductive. The objectives of you posting here has become disturbingly obvious.

    Comment by andy42302 — December 23, 2007 @ 7:21 pm”

I’ll choose to answer what I want, when I want, in the way I want.

You may choose to heed, ignore, or lambast. That is your right.

Am I arrogant? Guilty as charged.

Now I gotta go do some shopping for Christmas Dinner, as much as I hate to have to go to the grocery now, as it will probably be a madhouse. I may, or may not, be back on the blog before Christmas.

If I’m not, Merry Christmas to everyone, and believe it or not, I mean that sincerely.

I hope everyone here has a safe and happy holiday.

    Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 23, 2007 @ 7:42 pm

    ——————————–
Simply put Mr. Bigfoot, you a), throw your rock. b)the rock is promptly and easily shot down, c) cry foul as you have a right to toss your pebbles at will, d) pretend mommy’s calling at tuck tail and run. All of this of course is within your right to do so. No one here is denying your right to prove your limited debating skills.

  49. Jeremy in Denver says:

O.Bigfoot is definitely guilty of the comments andy42302 makes, though in O.Bigfoot’s defense, dixie blood did lay out the bait. Honestly, O.Bigfoot, if you wanted to be taken seriously, you’d take the individual posters to task and not paint us with a broad stroke, but of course, that’s not your MO.

I agree with the question ‘why are we reading about what Bush had for XMas’? I guess it was a slow day for the news team, and maybe they decided to throw out a curve ball in this form. Whatever, wishing death on Bush is excessive regardless of _who_ you are. Death without a trial is a miscarriage of justice. Never forget that.

Hey Guy, seems to me that those who proclaim the loudest how above dicking around at some blog site is not really a big part of their super big success in the real world are the ones that usually are the littliest most insignificant people. Just an observation. I wonder why you feel the need to mention multiple residences. Insecure? Imagined? Need to Make up Some Preceived Weakness in Your Family History? I don’t care, trust me. Still it seems you are working way to hard at this. Lighten up. Nobody cares!

  51. Lora says:

You don’t have to live in misery.
    Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 26, 2007 @ 3:39 pm

Nor do you, Mr. Foot-in-the-Mouth. If you were a truly happy person, you wouldn’t be here so frequently trying to tell liberals/progressives in your often misspelled, ungrammatical sentences how awful/stupid they are. BTW, you didn’t answer my question in #45, undoubtedly because you can’t.

  52. andy42302 says:

Mr. Bigfoot, obviously you’ve misconstrued quality for quantity. It’s not the amount of time anyone spends commenting but rather the quality of their comments. From your own admission, you only comment because you can rather than commenting to add substance to the debate. One of any reasonable amount of intellect would quickly deduce that it’s you that’s careless with their time on here grasping at an opportunity to downgrade anyone that doesn’t march lockstep with your ideologies. Quite honestly, I’m understanding with different opinions and mindsets. I welcome constructive criticism and/or debate. You’ve yet to offer that. Your wheel of intellect appears stuck in a proverbial rut, unable to free itself from the channel it follows.

  53. dixie blood says:

Jump to conclusions much??? Stupid A$$!!!!

  54. dixie blood says:

    Dear O’soStupid BigMouth,

You might just think about leaving this blog site to save your status as a moron!! You could be down graded to idiot%$##$%#!!!!!!!

  55. Marie says:

Moron! Read further. Bush got 10% of the vote and that was sufficient to put him in first place.

  56. Lora says:

And I didn’t answer your question in number 45 because I don’t much care what Ann Coulter has to say, though I usually agree with her politically, and I don’t hate anybody.
    Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 26, 2007 @ 10:22 pm

    Foot-in-the-Mouth,
You seem to have poor reading comprehension. My question in #45 did not concern Ann-thrax Coulter; it was to ask “where did I say that dixie blood’s post is okay.” But forget it, because you obviously can’t answer that.
Happy New Year! Meanwhile, I will finish up a Japanese-English translation.

  57. Lora says:

Nope. I answered your questions perfectly. Sorry you didn’t understand the answer.
Perhaps rather than spending so much time on Japanese, you might consider a little remedial english(SIC).
    Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 26, 2007 @ 11:54 pm

You didn’t answer the question at all, Foot-in-the-Mouth. And talk about “remedial english(SIC)” is funny coming from you. Maybe it’s a typo this time, but I’ve read too many spelling errors in your posts to chalk it all off to typos.
BTW, I am a professional translator, which means I earn my living by dealing with Japanese, English and some other languages. I have also worked as an editor at both a publishing house and a magazine. I, moreover, have had both my translations and original writing published. I don’t need advice on language from someone with your poor writing skills.

  58. Lora says:

    Ps. Bigfoot-in-Mouth,
    You already admitted in #72 (Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 26, 2007 @ 10:22 pm)
“I didn’t answer your question in number 45 ,” so it’s a little late to tell me now that you did but that I didn’t understand. You really put your big foot in your mouth this time. さようなら、阿呆!

  59. dixie blood says:

    And you might consider Prozac.

    Comment by O. Bigfoot — December 26, 2007 @ 10:23 pm

    That’s true. I can take a pill.

There is no pill to fix your stuidity. You are permanently moronic forever and ever.

Most stupid people, unlike you, don’t spend their lives trying to be a loud-mouthed blowhard too!!!
