Will Smith must be smiling to have McCain admit he’s really Black. Looks like brother John can now claim the minority vote. Mitt’s Dad was born a Mexican so what out John, Mitt might pull that secret out for a vote.
“I’ve been declared dead in this campaign on five or six occasions. I won’t refer to a recent movie I saw, but I think I am legend,” — McCain
True, the media has declared McCain’s campaign dead several times, and the first primary vote has not yet been cast.
Just like the media has been practically ignoring Kucinich, Dodd and Gravel.
He made a bad joke. At least it wasn’t a real stinker like his “Bomb, bomb Iran” fiasco. That one came back and bit him on the ass hard, heh. Like his flip-flopping.
What pisses me off is the media not letting us hear what each and every candidate has to say, not just the hand picked “front runner” media darlings of the day.
Why are candidates being excluded this early?
Manipulation of the elections?
This situation is getting pretty damned disgusting, IMHO.
McCain is probably the most electable of any of the Repukes. Just wait till be tips us that Joe LIsraelieberman will be his VP on the “bipartisan” ticket.

Yeah, He was excluded because he “Didn’t rent office space” instead of using space donated by one of his campaign workers.
This was the “Des Moines Register”, the media, making the decision, not the Iowa Democratic caucus.
Media censorship, hairsplitting the rules, they the paper made up, at that.
I think the establishment realizes they can slap the maverick label on McCain to give him the figleaf to cover a stepping away from Chimpy’s toxic legacy.
Now that they are settling on McCain after giving Rev. Chucklebubba a nice honey moon.
The media is going to treat Huckabee like his son treats dogs.
Senator McCain just can’t help himself. It was his egocentric statements like this that convinced primary voters in 2000 that George W Bush was the compassionate and “sane” candidate.

I believe it was the vicious personal attacks used against him that did him in. BushCo did the same thing to Max Cleland and John Kerry.
Would someone please explain property rights to this machete wielding Kenyan?

December 29th, 2007 at 3:15 pmIn his own mind. That’s all folks!
December 29th, 2007 at 3:19 pmWell, we certainly wouldn’t want a leader of this country who was humble, would we?
December 29th, 2007 at 3:21 pmJason, your off topic, as always.
McCains rise is likely due to Rudy and Romneys falling.
December 29th, 2007 at 3:26 pmHow about just electing someone who still realizes that they are only human, and are willing to admit that such is the case?
Applying this standard would clearly eliminate several contenders (or should the term be “pretenders”) from both parties.

December 29th, 2007 at 3:43 pmMcCain is the Israeli candidate.
They are desperate to position him as Presidential, with Lieberman as his running mate.
