Bush could be caught on film on the White House lawn having sex with a baby while eating a new born puppy as a snack with one hand and accepting a cash payment from Bin Laden with the other hand and he would still not get impeached. Why? Because democrats only hold a slim lead in each house and I do not see more than one or two republicans who would break ranks to convict Bush of anything, even if their constituents were clamoring overwhelmingly for impeachment. They value the party and the power of their party over all else including the security of our country both in spirit (the constitution) and in actual physical security. It just ain’t gonna happen because they will not have the support of the full congress. And of course if impeachment was attempted, it would fail and then the republicans would tout the failed attempt as proof of no wrong doing giving them a political victory.

That used to be easy but as has been noted many of them are on someone’s payroll to deliberaly disrupt progressive forums. I for one am tired of listening to it. If I wanted to hear it I would tune in to faux neus.

American political leaders must LOUDLY and REPEATEDLY DENOUNCE George W. Bush’s and Richard B. Cheney’s actions and orders as UNCONSTITUTIONAL, UNLAWFUL and TREASONOUS rather than VALIDATE them with POLITICAL POSTURING, TIMIDITY and SILENT ACQUIESCENCE!

IMPEACHMENT is the only means we have of stopping the cataclysmic consequences of the unrelenting IGNORANCE, ARROGANCE, INCOMPETENCE, DISHONESTIES, INSECURITIES, HOSTILE TEMPERAMENT, VINDICTIVENESS and PRONOUNCED MORAL AND ETHICAL DEFECTS of George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney. They are intellectually and emotionally mean-spirited and malicious immature children who are jointly destroying America’s honor and integrity throughout the world. And politically correct Democrats and Republicans are standing by watching as they dismantle our Constitution and rules of law creating an all powerful and self-ruling/policing ONE branch oppressive/fascist American government. No individuals in our history are more deserving of public CONDEMNATION and legitimate PROSECUTION than George W. Bush and Richard B. Cheney. God cannot save us from such men. That is something WE MUST DO FOR OURSELVES!

Neither does trying to paint yourself a “war vet” when you were rear echelon for a reason. If young Hunter doesn’t try to use his service as an election tool, I won’t say anything. But if he does, I plan to rub his nose in the fact that he was rear echelon.

So why shouldn’t a vet who’s seen the effects of Bush’s war firsthand be considered more credible than someone who purposely stayed out of the line of fire (the pentagon would never make the same mistake of allowing a sitting congressperson’s kin to serve in combat, for fear of capture, and the inevitable propaganda and negative press that would ensue) to get a dubious credibility for war time service? His father’s bragging to constituents about his son’s service can be considered just such a political primping.

But…but…but…what about flag burning and same-sex marriage? Those were the two most important issues facing America in 2006. I’m sure we’ll see them again this summer.
