The New Hampshire Republican Party expressed its disapproval with Fox News’ decision to exclude Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter from an upcoming debate by severing its partnership with the network. “We believe that it is inconsistent with the first in the nation primary tradition to be excluding candidates in a pre-primary setting,” said New Hampshire GOP state chair Fergus Cullen.
nh gop get ready for the bill o’reilly shove.
January 5th, 2008 at 11:07 pmyou sob’s!
Yow. I guess those New Hampshirites really ARE independent.
Good for them.
January 5th, 2008 at 11:13 pmDid the New Hampshire GOP make a good decision to pull out of debate for barring Presidential Candidate Ron Paul?

January 5th, 2008 at 11:21 pmFox: “but we are fair and balanced’…
January 5th, 2008 at 11:22 pmI will say that Ron Paul gave his best performance tonight, but that’s not saying much. I was able to see his libertarian bent on all issues, but as a staunch libertarian myself, I am not so foolish to believe that you can ignore foreign security threats, so that they go away. Otherwise, I agree that the government should stay out of running healthcare, or any other industry.
January 5th, 2008 at 11:24 pmWe had that on the Zoo 2.5 hours ago. :-)
January 5th, 2008 at 11:27 pmWow, a Republican party standing up to Faux Noise! Good on them. And good for you Zooey for scooping TP!
January 5th, 2008 at 11:30 pmPoor Fux Nooze. They must just feel awful. Both New Hampshirans that used to tune in won’t now.

Ron Paul all the way!
January 6th, 2008 at 12:11 amFox hates (real) republicans too!
January 6th, 2008 at 12:17 amAlthough I don’t consider any of them really real, in the real sense of the word. :)
January 6th, 2008 at 12:17 amAnd the pushback against these “traitorous primadonnas” begins in 1…2…3…

January 6th, 2008 at 12:57 amFox is to journalism just like Republicans are to politics.
January 6th, 2008 at 12:59 amGood on them.
January 6th, 2008 at 1:00 amCue O’Biley to call NH a den of terrorists…
January 6th, 2008 at 1:11 amWell, I applaud the NH GOP for their actions. Good for them. Just goes to show you what Fox News thinks of democracy.
January 6th, 2008 at 1:24 amRon Paul/Steve Ditko ‘08!
January 6th, 2008 at 1:29 amDid the Democratic party do anything about ABC exclusing Kucinich?
Comment by good_golly — January 6, 2008 @ 2:39 am
why do you care?
January 6th, 2008 at 2:57 amWell, on the bright side, at least Duncan won’t be spewing his war-mongering propaganda.

Couldn’t have said it much better. I hope the national GOP will wake up and realize just like the Christian Fundamentalists are mutationg beyond their manipulative control by supporting populist Huckabee, their fascist network can just as easily turn on them too. These idiots never learn that in propping up crazies, you enable them (i.e. Osama, Saddam, the Shah, Ann Coultier, etc…)
January 6th, 2008 at 5:10 amwhy does Ron keep getting a free pass on this racist immigration ad?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2T-iJKwskH4
and being the first to cross the Writers Guild picket line
January 6th, 2008 at 6:50 amhttp://blog.aflcio.org/2007/12/05/ron-paul-crosses-writers-picket-line/
jr, are you saying that fox excluded paul to express their solidarity with the prolitariat?
January 6th, 2008 at 8:09 amMcCain wants to keep troops in Iraq for another 100 years…and it does not bother him…but it should bother the voters…
January 6th, 2008 at 8:14 amWhy would anybody vote for such brain…?!
He had no answer for energy, balancing the budget, trade, labor…just wants more wars, another Giuliani in a different suit.
With Lieberman on his side…!!
May God help this country.
The only thing hurting the dollar, and hence our economy, is our energy trade deficit. Solve that, and you solve the current downturn in the economy. Certainly the increase in minimum wage is a factor, but that could easily be absorbed by our economy, if we didn’t have an energy trade deficit.
The ONLY stimulus package the Dem Congress needs to work on is the portion of the ENERGY bill Congress didn’t pass last year – domestic energy production using domestic sources of energy, renewable or not. California, as it completes its new solar, geo-thermal, wind, hydro and hybrid energy plants, should be closing down any / all plants that use foreign sources of energy.
January 6th, 2008 at 8:43 amFrank Rich zero’s in on the Republican dilemma:
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/06/opinion/06rich.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin
“People are looking for a presidential candidate who reminds them more of the guy they work with rather than the guy that laid them off,â€
It’s such populist Huckabee sentiments that are already driving the Republican empire to strike back. The party that has milked religious conservatives for votes for two decades is traumatized by the prospect that one of that ilk might actually become its standard-bearer. Especially if the candidate in question is a preacher who bashes Wall Street and hedge-fund managers and threatens to take a Christian attitude toward those too poor to benefit from the Bush tax cuts.
“
January 6th, 2008 at 8:55 amFOX is State Sponsored TV.
January 6th, 2008 at 9:22 amExcuse me for not being totally up to date on this issue, but could someone tell me what the official reason Fox is giving for excluding Ron Paul?
And why do people think it’s because of his anti-war stance of they are also excluding pro-war Duncan?
January 6th, 2008 at 12:02 pmIt’s bad enough that the media anoints a candidate and propels their candidate to the finish line (see GWB) but it is another when opposing candidates are not permitted to debate on television, where most people get their news and impressions of candidates.
January 6th, 2008 at 12:27 pmFrankly, I would not mind seeing the entire GOP implode, but I don’t want to see a network such as FOX or any other determine who will be a part of the implosion.
If Faux News can’t stand up to Ron Paul, how are they going to stand up to the Terrorists?!?!
LOL
January 6th, 2008 at 1:10 pmDig, the last I saw was that FOX said it was only offering invitations to those who received double digit votes in IA. But I think I saw FOX offer a couple of different flavors of excuses. That was the last one I saw.
January 6th, 2008 at 3:27 pmHere is an example of what a Foxnewsiness Republican debate might look like, especially if moderated by Billo-the-Wimp O’Reilly.

I see. So I guess it’s really an issue of Ron Paul just rocks the boat a bit too much?

January 6th, 2008 at 10:14 pmWhy not mention that ABC excluded Dennis Kucinich from the debate of Democratic Candidates?
Fox sucks, but ABC is hardly better.
