Joe Scarborough is making some fairly accurate and acute observations, these days. Bet his days are numbered, being on the same network as Russert & Matthews, the two most flagrant enamoratti of “Straight-talking-no-matter-how-many-different-positions-he-takes” John McCain.

If McCain did get elected, we’d better hope Lieberman ISN’T VP – McCain’s pretty old.

On Sunday morning, Russert and some of his trained poodles talked about how old and grey Hillary Clinton’s campaign was and how bad that was. Later, Russert had a wonderful conversation with McCaine which highlighted his “experience.” McCaine sings songs about mass-murdering women and children in Iran and thinks it would be just fine if we had troops in Iraq for 100 years – and these corporate whores are going to sell him as the best Repube candidate – great, bring him on!

Joe may be making a valid point, but his choice of analogy is crap. He’s engaging in gay bashing here. Belittling gay marriage is just schoolyard bully posturing and it shouldn’t be ignored or condoned, by anyone, for any reason.

Glenn Greenwald at Salon just wrote about WHY these so-called political journalists are infatuated with McCain: he flatters them. He strokes their massive egos, just like Bush did (and does with the White House Lap Dogs). These pawns are emotionally at the age of an immature fourteen-year-old, and so they suck up to a sad old has-been who wants to stay in Iraq for a hundred years.
