In an upcoming profile of MSNBC host Keith Olbermann in Men’s Journal, “a senior executive at MSNBC” says that “Keith runs MSNBC.” “It’s been an amazing turnaround, because two years ago they were going to cancel him,” the executive said. “Because of his success, he’s in charge. Chris Matthews is infuriated by it.”
(HT: Atrios)

Chris Matthews fails to understand that real journalists can be successful. Beltway insiders, however, are a dime a dozen.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:04 amI think I need to scrape up a copy of the magazine; this article sounds vastly entertaining.
Anything that pisses off Chris Matthews is a bonus.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:06 amWaaaaa.Waaaaa, poor chris, typical little boy complaining Keith has more than he doe’s…..Get over it chris…No one like’s you or your, “cough” reporting hate…..Blessings
January 11th, 2008 at 10:07 amAwwww~ Isn’t that sad & touchin’??!
January 11th, 2008 at 10:07 am1-800-wah-wahh tweety!
January 11th, 2008 at 10:08 amI’ve watched Hardball since it’s 2nd year on the air and have always been a big fan of Chris. But in the past few years he’s definitely taken a downward turn for some reason. And the tension with Olbermann has always been noticeable every time they’ve been put together to provide commentary on the debates — it’s kinda sad but understandable, given their different approaches to politics and the feelings by Matthews that the new guy is taking over. I like Olbermann too but find him a bit too combative at times to really win over people to the left. Chris should have gotten out while he was at the top of his game.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:08 am#6 - combative? did u have a nice coma?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:09 amI doubt this is tweety’s first clue that reality trumps stupidity - everytime…
it’s just he’s bit behind because of all the crap he just makes up!!

ROCK ON, KEITH! KEEP FIGHTING THAT GOOD FIGHT!
January 11th, 2008 at 10:10 ammy, my, my. The little green monster raises it’s ugly head. Chris isn’t a tad jealous- is he?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:10 amOlbermann doesn’t have the sexual fixation Matthews does. He’s funny, not boring, and he speaks with some passion, not like he’s reading a teleprompter.
Olbermann’s prior experience with sports actually seems to help him cut through the BS of politics. Matthews seems in awe of Washington.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:12 amAs for Tweey…BOO FRICKIN” HOO!!!
January 11th, 2008 at 10:12 amI’m sure Chris has suggested to Keith that he needs to start asking his guests compound, endless questions, and just when the guest is starting to answer, he should interject one last editorial comment (preferably something vaguely sexist or racist), giving the guest about 10 seconds to answer before starting all over again.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:12 ams/b “Tweety” (mea culpa)
January 11th, 2008 at 10:13 amJust a random thought… is tweety interviewing with ailes???
January 11th, 2008 at 10:13 amWhat? Does Keith have more attractive dates than Tweety? Or do they just remind Chris of the girls who’ve rejected him in the past?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:16 amMatthews is perplexed by Old Spice or English Leather or whatever dime store after shave old men on the hill wear.
Is it any wonder more people resonate with powerful and devastatingly honest commentary by a guy with a great delivery and command of his audience?
Is it any wonder the right hates him so much (read is so afraid of him?)

January 11th, 2008 at 10:17 amgulfwargrunt covered it well in reply #13.
I do enjoy some of the looks on Keith’s face when the two are on together and Chris starts some weird monologue that makes no sense.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:20 amWhile I love Olbermann for his HONEST reporting and his getting the facts out there, to his credit, Chris Matthews HAS improved a bit. He just needs to tell the truth more often instead of using TALKING POINTS given him by the candidates or parties.
Coonsey’s View
January 11th, 2008 at 10:21 amhttp://www.freewebs.com/coonsey/
Mathews and Scarborough seem genuinely scared about all the new blood at MSNBC,as they should. The country wants more of Olbermann,Shuster, and Maddow and less republican fluffers who act like spoiled closed minded drunks when they don’t get their way. Saw this last eve Via Crooks & Liars….A Mathews bashing blog:
January 11th, 2008 at 10:22 amhttp://sweetjesusihatechrismatthews.blogspot.com/
So why is he called Tweety, anyway?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:22 am“Sometimes it glimmers with this man, our President, that kind of sunny nobility.”
“Everybody sort of likes the president, except for the real whack-jobs …”
“And that’s the president looking very much like a jet, you know, a high-flying jet star.”
Simply put he’s an Establishment Tool.
I see a lot of people talking about his not actually being a Republican or whatever. Republican vs Democrat is a distraction just like Britney, Lohan and Paris. The real battle is The Establishment vs The People and it is clear which side he is on. The Republicans got control and tried to cement the country in one place in which the corporations controlled everything, maintaining their obscene profit margins. But a country cannot regress and the people will have their say in the end.
Overthrow the Punditocracy!

January 11th, 2008 at 10:30 amPerhaps after Chris gets done kicking, screaming, and holding his breath until he turns blue, maybe he can ask himself why thinking people take Keith seriously. It might have something to do with bullsh!t-free reporting.

Now tagged in del.icio.us for regular visits. Good one!
January 11th, 2008 at 10:33 amBecause Olbermann has guts and more close to the truth than all journalists and pundits on night telelvision shows.
He mixes also reality with humor.
But always on the penny, with less window dressing.
It shows also that copying and riding Fox network bus does not always translate to reaching success sought.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:35 amViewers are tired of the same, and Olbermann offers a Change.
MSNBC has some of the best talent and some of the worst.
They should use Rachel and Shuster more. Tucker is a idiot no matter how you slice or dice it. He is just a rich kid ranting.
Matthews use to have it until he allowed his fatal attraction to Hillary take over his life.
I like Olberman a lot and Abrams aint so bad.
Matthews should go to work for Fox.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:35 amIs he “Tweety” because of the size of his head in relation to the rest of his body?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:37 amDid he tawt he taw a putty tat?
Schuster is a god awful reporter. His cadence makes him sound phony.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:39 amBut he’s a really good analyst. He’s much better when he’s not reading off the prompter.
I’m just waiting for Willie Geist to get his own show.
i see vanthomas is a C&L fan also…

you all know bill o’LIElly has a similarly named site, right?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:40 ami haven’t been there in a while… al franken used to talk with the

Is he “Tweety†because of the size of his head in relation to the rest of his body?
Did he tawt he taw a putty tat?
Close. Actually, it has more to do with the size of his brain — it’s bird-like. And — as with all birds — he has been trained to mimic and to parrot words but has no concept of what they mean.
I think he and GDumbya were “separated at birth”.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:41 amWhen Olbermann questions a guest, he actually allows that person to answer. On the other hand, egotistical Matthews doesn’t need a guest, he just cuts in and answers his own questions.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:47 amInteresting Chris Matthews trivia - his brother Jim Matthews is a Republican county commissioner in the Philadelphia suburbs and was the Republican Lieutenant-governor running mate with Lynn Swann (former Steeler great) in the 2006 Pennsylvania election. They lost 60-40 to incumbant Democrat Ed Rendell (who is not wildly popular) and Catherine Baker Knoll.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:49 amAll I want to know is:
When will Tucker go away?
January 11th, 2008 at 10:54 amEveryone who doesn’t hate me yet, will hate me after that one, lol.
Comment by BARTLEBEE
No. We, at the church of fanatical atheists, do not hate, thats what our No-God told us in his sacred scriptures.
Heh.
:)
January 11th, 2008 at 10:55 amOlberman deserves the success; after all, he’s the only honest journalist left! Kudos to Kieth!! Keep up the good work in the pursuit of honesty in our media.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:55 amTweety can go suck an egg. What does it say when it takes a sportscaster to teach the rest of the journalistic staff what their job is?
Keep at it, Keith. Maybe, someday, they’ll learn.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:57 amIt has been obvious for a long time that Tweety is not comfortable in KO’s presents.
This should be a wakeup call to Tweety MSNBC and other ‘News’ shows. People are damned tired of Reich-Wing Spin on everything.
Stephanie Miller was correct when she said Mathews is a Right-wing tool.
Remember in 2000 and 2004 Mathews was acting like a hard nippled High school cheerleader for Bush.
KO is a breath of fresh air - guts, intelligent, articulate, funny and not REICH WING.
Maybe the era of the Right-wing tool set on TV is over!
Go KO! No quarter!
January 11th, 2008 at 10:58 amI do have to hand out kudos to Keith for holding those charged with hijacking the conversation about the prepoll and voting results NOT matching up with the exit polls especially in light of the problems in NH attributed to Sylvestro and the “chain of custody” of the opti scan machines this man personally holds in not only NH but Vermont, Conn, and Mass as well.
Something smells very fishy here and Kucinich is demanding a recount - justifiably so - no one can explain how the polls matched accurately with the results in the Rethug race and failed so miserably in the Dem race…..haha!! We smell a rat here and it’s the GOP who desperately want Hillary so they can smear her to kingdom come and eliminate her from the race if she becomes the candidate.
LOOK TO THE MACHINES, FOLKS….New Hampshire was in the courts for this guy Sylvestro having the exclusive control of the “brains” of 81% of the voting machines in New Hampshire. This isn’t over and what occurred in NH may be just the tip of a very evil iceberg which will, once again, hack the results of our votes - thereby eliminating the one “voice” left to the people.
Obama needs to join with Kucinich in demanding a recount in NH now if he wants to garner the votes of the Indy’s.
January 11th, 2008 at 10:59 amSorry…..meant Matthews - he’s the one who alluded to smelling a “rat” in the asynchronicity of the exit polling with the results in NH.
TIME TO DO OUR HOMEWORK AND BEGIN CONNECTING THE DOTS.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:01 amChris has been making a lot of sense lately though, so I wouldn’t be so hard on him. This sounds like a personal power struggle between him and Keith and I for one like them both.
Comment by BARTLEBEE — January 11, 2008 @ 10:49 am
Mathews has his lucid moments, but they are rare.
His drooling, fawning idiocy when interviewing republicans like Delay, Romney, etc. drive me up the wall. They should just get a room instead.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:01 amI would rather watch and orchestra of chalkboard scratchers.
Exit Polls have historically been the “gold standard” to maintain the accuracy and honesty of our elections. The exit polls in the Dem race in NH are the “tip off” we need to pursue because the tampering is already in motion for the 08 election, sorry to say.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:02 amBah, a few typos in that last post =P
January 11th, 2008 at 11:02 amWhen will Tucker go away?
Just like his bow tie.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:04 amMatthews has shown that he KNOWS that the problem with our elections IS the hacking which is so easy that it can be done by a techie in 10 minutes and a high schooler within two days! This was done by blackboxvoting.org recently. They purchased an Opti-Scan machine (the same as the ones used in New Hampshire), took it to their neighborhood geek squad, asked the first technie to break into the brains of the system, and voila! Within 10 minutes he was into the memory card! Our elections have become a total sham and we no longer have a democracy if we permit this overt criminal behavior.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:04 amIn a nutshell:
January 11th, 2008 at 11:04 amTweety: “I think……….”
Olbermann: “What do YOU think…” Tweety loves to hear himself talk, and thinks he’s somekind of expert..at what,no one knows.
Treat yourself - go to http://www.blackboxvoting.org to learn about what Sylvestro is up to. See how Harri Hursti, the hacker who proved that the Ohio elections were hacked in 2004, tackled Sylvestro in court recently about these Opti-Scan machines. Check it out if you want your skin to crawl.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:05 amau contraire, YetiTroll! Olberman is the ONLY patriot involved in honest discourse in the news media today. The fact IS that he could get a job any day of the week while the shitheels on Fox Noise will be on the unemployment lines soon.

Bartlebee: Matthews has “seen the light” and is appalled by this administration and says so. In his case, it’s not so much an altruistic streak which motivates Matthews as it is the fact that his ego is shattered since he was once such a “Bushitco” that he can’t believe that he was duped by these frauds.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:08 amand Matthews knows the drill: You can’t polish a turd! oh, soooo well….you can’t polish the Chimp or anyone associated or affiliated with him. This Matthews well knows.

January 11th, 2008 at 11:35 amSomeone asked: what are the differences?
Did they mean the differences between fact and fantasy or the difference between truth ferreting and entertaining innuendo?
January 11th, 2008 at 11:37 am#42… Hey Hill Billy, Go Back and read the blathering website you linked to… Go on… I’ll wait…
See there’s nothing there that contradicts or disproves any thing ANYTHING that KO said, just a list of ten things they are mad about that he said. The first one is the clearest example of this.
They just keep repeating that he was wrong not how he was wrong. You know, like when Billo said that the US troops slaughtered Nazi troops at Malmady but it was actually the other way around and KO called him on it?
There’s a huge difference between calling someone a liar and producing facts that prove a person to actually Be a liar. KO does the latter on a regular basis. Your pathetic website only does the first part… and not very well I might add.
Now run along. Faux Noise is about to start their afternoon lie fest, you won’t want to miss that.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:46 amOlbermann is the reason I started watching news on TV again. I gave up on the whole thing around 02 due to the absolute failure of the MSM to even approach the concept of journalism. When I saw CNN and others start to Fox-ify themselves, I wrote a few critical letters / emails and walked away as it got worse and worse. Sensationalistic graphics and prurient titilation are NOT news.
The established f33r teh intarwebz. And with good reason - you cannot take any one source as the end-all be-all authority - you have to surround an issue using multiple sources… Even Olbermann gets things wrong - the difference is he corrects himself and if an apology is in order he gives it…
Matthews sux0rz.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:49 amIf Matthews would just be quiet long enough to let guests answer a question before he interrupts them and moves on to another subject. In my opinion Olberman (sp) has it all over him and it’s that fact that pisses Matthews off. Olberman is better and decidedly more polished.
January 11th, 2008 at 11:53 amWhile I love Olbermann for his HONEST reporting and his getting the facts out there, to his credit, Chris Matthews HAS improved a bit. He just needs to tell the truth more often instead of using TALKING POINTS given him by the candidates or parties.
Yeah, well if he’s improving he must have been worse that Beck or O’rly? before…

January 11th, 2008 at 12:50 pmMatthews has been digging his own grave for a long time now. Aside from being a rude and obnoxious host, he has made outrageous comments about people, their sex lives, their appearance, how they smell, and he has made inappropriate comments to females on his show — all of these things totally improper and irrelevant to his position as news anchor.
January 11th, 2008 at 1:06 pmHe even had to invite his own wife on his progtram to “interview” him about his new book.
H doesn’t think he is ready to retire, but perhaps his inability to keep his own mouth shut is indicative that he is mistaken.
(He sucks up to the felon, Tom Delay also.)
Hey Bigmouth, the only one making stupid assertions is you.
Continue being the lemming that you are. And enjoy when the grown ups take charge again.
While you may have an IQ of low double digits (like our current president which is probably why you like him so much), try to take an objective look at things like our economy. I know, I know, all them there numbers hurt your widdle brain, but we’re not in good shape. And that’s directly attributable to your darling pres.
Get a clue, dude. You look like a real idiot for espousing the crap that you do. But that’s par for the vast majority of goopers these days. Either uber rich or dumb as stumps, and I doubt you fall into the first category.
Go watch Larry the Cable Guy again. He’s more your speed.
January 11th, 2008 at 1:09 pmI’ve gotta say this, the only time I can STAND Matthews is when somebody takes him to task, be it Jon Stewart or Rachel Maddow or Keith Olberman. He’s been left playing with his barbies too long, he really thinks it’s normal. when people remind him that it’s NOT normal, he actually makes me think he might snap out of it.
for about 3 seconds.
January 11th, 2008 at 1:50 pmSomone on the corporate board must have noticed that the overwhelming political and social sentiment in the country has been moving steadily left for some years now. Pollingreport.com provides a great deal of documentation for where we stand and on the issues; we’re simply not what conservatives would like you to believe.
Keith Olberman, a moderate by any standard, has recognized the obvious, expressed his un-censored feelings and opinions, and his steady ratings climb has evidently been noticed by people who value profit over ideology.
Chris Matthews, a store-bought pool-boy for billionaire republican Jack Welch, probably thought that his position of favor with the boss would always translate to the most important place on the network and so he’s understandably bitter. Matthews has for a long time been one of the most disfunctional, strange and downright insane pundits on television. His misogyny is so obvious it’s pathetic and he clearly spent two years from 1999 up to the 2000 election trying to convince us that Bush was a great guy and Gore was a creep.
January 11th, 2008 at 1:54 pmKeith Olberman, a moderate by any standard…..
Comment by Ret. Col. Jack Ripper — January 11, 2008 @ 1:54 pm
Wow….
January 11th, 2008 at 1:58 pmMaybe if Chris Matthews showed better judgement and quit interviewing and taking seriously people like Tom Delay even going so far as to tell him how great he is and that he wasn’t trying to enrich himself when the evidence might lead differently, then maybe he could be taken seriously. Also he just continues to skewer the Clinton’s over ethics when they were cleared by the special prosecutor after Bill left office. Yet Chris continues to ignore that and act as if Bush is the most ethical President ever in spite of all the scandals of this administration and that Bill Clinton was the most unethical. He is becoming a joke. When it comes to Hillary he behaves like a misogynist and when it comes to Guiliani and all his ethical improprieties he ignores them. He acts like he has a crush on Fred Thompson. He is really loosing it. Oberman is good because he is not afraid to call it what it is and he is fair. At least he has been willing to speak of the scandals of the Bush administration which have been largely ignored by the MSM which is why his star is rising.
January 11th, 2008 at 2:10 pmKeith Olberman, a moderate by any standard…..
Comment by Ret. Col. Jack Ripper — January 11, 2008 @ 1:54 pm
Hasn’t KO called on Bush to resign again and again? That is your idea of a political moderate?
How many people wound up signing the online impeachment petition? It was like 150,000 last time I saw anything on TP about it. If the number has multiplied by a factor of 10, which I sincerely doubt, then that would be half of one percent of the American population who agree with KO.
Moderate indeed. Spare me.
January 11th, 2008 at 2:11 pmKeltoi, my opinion is that the modern Republican/Libertarian/Neocon movement has moved things so far to the right that traditionally moderate positions seem radical. I don’t think an opinion held by over half of the population can be thought of as “radical.” I don’t think it is radical to propose that a president who has lied us into an illegal shooting war, defied and violated the constitution and shown absolutely no regard for the rule of law should resign is a radical idea.
You can hang your hat on some obscure on-line petition if you like, but I don’t think it’s very representative of public opinion. I think the majority of Americans would like Bush to be gone as soon as possible.
January 11th, 2008 at 2:18 pm“Close. Actually, it has more to do with the size of his brain — it’s bird-like. And — as with all birds — he has been trained to mimic and to parrot words but has no concept of what they mean.â€â€¦

January 11th, 2008 at 2:19 pmSince Smirker-in Chief Bush teared up while at the Auschwitz Memorial, can we expect the same outpouring of insults heaped on him that Hillary caught for showing emotion? C’mon Tweety, let’s show some of that famous balanced reporting.
January 11th, 2008 at 2:20 pmAnd, Keltoi, let me point something else out for you: every time Olberman argues that Bush should resign, it is after he points out some legal or constitutional outrage (in his opinion.) Anyone not watching doesn’t hear the argument. The more appropriate analysis would be among those who have listened to a given argument. How would a Fox viewer, for example, even know Olberman has made a point? I’m pretty sure we won’t see such a thing, but I would like to see a measure of opinion among viewers on the subject after they listen to Olberman’s argument.
January 11th, 2008 at 2:25 pmKeith Olberman thinks that the President should respect the constitution - I wouldn’t call that a radical position.

Col. Jack, it is these days!
This from mediabistro.com on KO:
The article also touches on Olbermann’s goals, in the context of his main competition, Fox News Channel. “I’d like it to be the accurate counterweight to Fox. My attitude is not to counterbalance them because they’re conservatives; it’s counterbalancing because some of their stuff is outlandishly in violation of every tenet of responsible broadcasting,” he says.
Amen, bruddah! How much does it suck when factual reporting is considered liberal spin. What a friggin joke our 4th estate has become!

Olberman is very good at what he does. And I agree with the above comment that we should see much more of David Schuster and Rachel Maddow. All three of them are very articulate and well educated. I loved the coverage David Schuster did on the Valerie Plame matter. MSNBC has been a breath of fresh air. Sometimes I can tolerate Matthews and other times not. It is clear that he is a Clinton hater. And, Scarborough is just icky. But not as bad as his side kick “Willie”. The woman (I am sorry I do not know her name) is the best anchor on that show. And, I do like some parts of the Dan Abrams show. Too bad he does so much who killed who news.

January 11th, 2008 at 3:23 pmIf Keith’s running things, we doesn’t he fire that mental midget?
January 11th, 2008 at 3:39 pmKeith Olberman thinks that the President should respect the constitution - I wouldn’t call that a radical position.

Not to sane, rational citizens. Its just the fact, most of the Re-bumbling-kins positions are right of Mussolini.
January 11th, 2008 at 3:54 pmHasn’t KO called on Bush to resign again and again? That is your idea of a political moderate?
blah, blah…….
Moderate indeed. Spare me.

Calling for someone violating the law of the Land, the Constitution and committing war crimes ( torture ) is radical in your book, eh?
Like I said, Re-bumbling-kins are right of Mussolini.
January 11th, 2008 at 4:00 pmChris lacks Keith’s broadcast professionalism, poetic use of language, and deep, masculine voice. He must feel like the little kid on the playground who was the star of a really bad team and, then, a superstar moves in and, effortlessly, takes over.

Well, all I can say is KO is a moderate only if you chop the political spectrum in half and discard the half you disagree with and reset your reference points.
If calling for Bush’s impeachment is a moderate position, why is it a laughing stock in Congress? If Col. Jack doesn’t acknowledge the one-tenth of a half a percent who signed the impeachment petition figure as admissable to where America’s sense of what a moderate is, how about Dennis Kucinich? He has been a VERY vocal champion of impeachment and polled 2% in New Hampshire. I can see very little difference between Kucinich and KO in their viewpoints. If you think DK is a moderate too, well…it could be your own frame of reference that is skewed, not mine.

your frame of reference is decidedly Soviet. your frame of reference is based on the corporate, rightwing takeover of the entire news apparatus of the USA since 1970. The fact that you think Bush should stay until the end of the term just shows how out of touch y8ou are with most of America. comparing real Americans with corporate politicians is a fool’s game, and you’re the fool. Olberman is, in fact and deed, a moderate. He is certainly no lefty, he only looks that way to you koolaid chuggers because he exposes the immorality and lies of the right. Kucinich polled 2% because the rightwing media has spent millions of dollars and thousands of hours framing him. That’s what you fascists do. So, once again, you’re totally wrong, and come down against Aemrica and what it stands for. No surprise; there are no Republiscum left that are patriots.

Kucinich and Olbermen are moderates and US soldiers are terrorists.
I’m curious - does the sun never shine on Planet Lefty Patriot or is the extreme heat the cause of its denizens dementia?

Oh, I forgot - only Democrats can win elections there, too, Republicans can only steal them. If there is any justice on Planet Lefty Patriot then, only one party - the one he likes - is allowed to participate! Perfect society, sounds kinda familiar….
January 11th, 2008 at 5:48 pmMathews what do you think your dwindling viewers are going to think , when you coddle one of the most corrupt politicians Tom Delay , who helped create the most corrupt lobbying cabal on K str. Where’s your ethical back bone , when you vilify Hillary Clinton , a person far from perfect, yet looks like a saint compared to the thug, your Friend Tom Delay .
January 11th, 2008 at 6:32 pmYour Fast talking smirk is getting old fast , and your phony back handed compliments are as phony as you are .
Matthews is such a kiss-ass and egomaniac, I can’t stand him. Talk about someone who is in love with the sound of his own voice. I love Olbermann, though.
I doubt that Keith’s really “in charge,” or he wouldn’t be having to sit next to Tweety during all those specials. He can’t possibly be enjoying that.
January 11th, 2008 at 6:46 pmChris Matthews has NEVER had any veracity. So who cares about him?
January 12th, 2008 at 12:41 amWhen will we be treated to Chrissy’s hissy fit?
Olbermann is successful because he is a damn good journalist. Matthews is just a screaming fool with very unhealthy obsessions. In other words, he’s the O’Falafel equivalent at MSNBC. Totally insane.
