“Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani said Saturday that his experience as New York City’s mayor during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks is a big reason why he supports a national insurance backup fund. ‘Maybe I feel more strongly about this because of what I went through as mayor. I don’t even know how to describe Sept. 11. I don’t know if catastrophe is even the right word,’ Giuliani said. ‘There’s no possible way we could have gotten through that alone. No possible way.’”
Trust an insurance company/u.s. gov. on this…? I don’t think so ruuuu.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:15 pm“I don’t even know how to describe Sept. 11.”
Giuliani continued:
“…Lord knows I’ve tried…”
January 13th, 2008 at 1:17 pmRudy: “I don’t even know how to describe Sept. 11.”
– - 9ut we’re sure you’11 continue to try.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:17 pmGood old Rudy. He’s almost like Will Rogers — never met a chance to say 9-11 that he didn’t like.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:18 pmOh btw, 9/11.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:18 pmI don’t even know how to describe Sept. 11. I don’t know if catastrophe is even the right word,’ Giuliani said.
Try False Flag – or Inside Job.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:19 pmGood god, I am so sick of hearing these politicos bragging about how great they are. Won’t someone please stuff a dirty, sweaty sock in each of their mouths for a while?
Instead of bragging about all the “great things” they have done and how heroic they are, I want to hear about how they are going to go about resolving our problems starting with getting our troops out of Iraq posthaste.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:26 pmAmazing how this dude sinks into self parody. It’s the only attention-getter he knows, and it doesn’t work all that well anymore.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:26 pmSo, if I choose not to have insurance, I still get to pay when there is a disaster? So the big guys don’t lose out? Where did that Republican self-reliance go?
January 13th, 2008 at 1:30 pmOh great, let’s prop up the poor insurance companies…
January 13th, 2008 at 1:37 pmIf only 9/11 had happened on 10/4, 9iu1ian1 could have locked up the Ham radio/CB’er constinuency.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:39 pm1. Rudy may claim he doesn’t know how to desribe 9/11, but that doesn’t stop him from invoking it in his one-trick-pony campaign.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:41 pm2. Rudy uses the indescribable 9/11 to shill for insurance companies?
Well, Rudy, you might want to consider not building such needlessly tall buildings. Hundred+ stories is so 2000-ish.
January 13th, 2008 at 1:57 pmA noun, a verb, 9/11.
∞
January 13th, 2008 at 2:47 pmLord, you’d think Rudy was the only person that went thru 9/11.
January 13th, 2008 at 3:54 pmGood lord I hope people who support Giuliani realize that installing this guy in the White House means that we’ll be listening to this tripe for four years. Do we seriously want every national address, ever press conference, every White House statement to start with a statement about 9/11?
What Giuliani seems to forget is that we all lived through it just as he did. True most of us were just plastered against our television and computers for the better part of a week, but 9/11 is part of our shared experience. To suggest that Guiliani alone remembers 9/11 is just an insult.
January 13th, 2008 at 3:54 pmHe didn’t know who to say “I support the insurance fund” if it didn’t have 9/11 in it. He doesn’t know how to make dinner reservations without 9/11 in it.
January 13th, 2008 at 3:56 pmMaybe people should offer to tattoo 911 on his forehead.
January 13th, 2008 at 3:57 pmI heard that “branding” was the new craze at tattoo parlors. I’m sure we could find enough people to hold him down during the “procedure”.
January 13th, 2008 at 4:18 pmThere is no way around it for Giuliani !!,the 9/11 again is the reason for his support for Insurance….
January 13th, 2008 at 4:30 pmOld joke, but apt.
How can you tell when Rudy’s talking about 9/11?
His lips are moving.
January 13th, 2008 at 4:41 pmi think that jon stewart summed rudy up perfectly on the daily show when he showed a clip of rudy using 9/11 in responding to hillary’s so called tearing up last week – “ARE YOU F**KING KIDDING ME?!!?”
January 13th, 2008 at 5:47 pmSee, when Rudy talks about supporting a insurance fund, he actually means he supports insurance fraud.
January 13th, 2008 at 6:55 pmWhen is Gulse going to incorporate “Oh thank heaven for 9/eleven” into his lingo?
January 13th, 2008 at 7:20 pmGhouliani………”911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911, 911……not to change the Thubject….September 11, September 11,, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11,, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11,, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11, September 11″
January 13th, 2008 at 7:51 pmRudy: “Ah….ah…..AHHHH…..*NINEELEVEN!!!*”
(He even says it when he sneezes.)
January 13th, 2008 at 8:24 pmI don’t even know how to describe Sept. 11. I don’t know if catastrophe is even the right word,’ Giuliani said.

Thom Hartmann is opening up to the idea more, Mike Malloy always has, and Randi Rhodes thinks Bhutto could have been killed by Musharraf’s henchmen. Even die hard liberals can see there are conspiracies and everything is not a coincidence.
January 13th, 2008 at 9:22 pmAnd yet the more massive and wider-spread damage in New Orleans / Katrina doesn’t justify a national insurance fund as the insurance companies were so pure and pristine in their actions ?
January 13th, 2008 at 9:25 pm#30
BINGO!
January 14th, 2008 at 12:30 amJulieAnnie was going out of office on 9/10 as a fascisit scumbag mutherfu(ker, who screwed over ALL the minorities and people of NYC. He was DESPISED.
