President Bush touched down in Saudi Arabia today, the last stop on his Middle East trip. The AP notes that despite Bush’s “close ties to the kingdom’s ruling family,” he is viewed with “deep unpopularity among ordinary Saudis.” A recent poll found that only 12 percent of Saudis view Bush positively — “lower than Iran’s president or even al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden.”

The Saudi populace hates our guts.

Clearly smart people.
January 14th, 2008 at 2:35 pmI don’t know why they’re so pissed at Bush. If we didn’t have a traitor as President, we probably would have bombed the hell out of Saudi Arabia (in self-defense) a long time ago:

All of the borrowed money that the Saudis lended to Bush’s pet projects and so forth wasn’t really a good investment in turn. The Saudis are certainly not getting a good return on investment from the drop of value of the U.S. buck.

Exactly, muse. Tapes are released, but where is the independent evidence that the tapes are from bin Laden? I do not trust the Bush administration to tell me the truth about anything, especially about terrorists, so why should I believe them about bin Laden being alive?
I find it strains credulity to believe that bin Laden has been living in caves all these years while on dialysis. And since the royal Saudi family allowed Joseph Wahabbi to marry into them (so he would not direct his and his followers’ ill-placed anger toward them), I do not believe for one second that Saudi Arabia is our ally in “The Global War on Terror.” In fact, I think it could be argued that they are state sponsors of terrorism.

Top Bin Laden Expert: The Tapes are Fakes
Kevin Barrett
For those of you who actually believe that Bin Laden was involved in the 9/11 attacks, the FBI Most Wanted web site disagrees with you, and so does Wikipedia:
“The FBI does not yet have ‘hard evidence’ linking him to the 9/11 attacks and so as of 2006 he has only been indicted on the embassy murders; he is officially still only a suspect in ‘other terrorist attacks throughout the world’.”
http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/topten/fugitives/laden.htm
To each of you – go ahead, tell me again about the one where Osama Bin Laden attacked America on 9/11.
Anybody?
Anybody?
Have you actually LOOKED at the person in the fake Bin Laden video?

The FBI declines to confirm its authenticity.
BECAUSE IT’S FAKE!
BIN LADEN DID NOT ATTACK US ON 9/11.
Compare the nose of the actor in the video tape with that of Bin Laden:

This is NOT BIN LADEN.
Repeat this information often.

January 14th, 2008 at 3:31 pmIsrael to get “smarter” U.S. made bombs than Saudis
JERUSALEM (Reuters) – The United States has agreed in principle to provide Israel with better “smart bombs” than those it plans to sell Saudi Arabia under a regional defense package, senior Israeli security sources said on Sunday.
Keen to bolster Middle East allies against an ascendant Iran, the Bush administration last year proposed supplying Gulf Arab states with some $20 billion in new weapons, including Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) bomb kits for the Saudis.
The plan has angered Israel’s backers in Washington, who say the JDAMs, which give satellite guidance for bombs, may one day be used against the Jewish state or at least blunt its power to deter potential foes. Israel has had JDAMs since 1990 and has used them extensively in a 2006 offensive in Lebanon.
Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s government dropped its objections to the proposed Saudi deal in July after securing U.S. military aid grants worth $30 billion over the next decade.

ANY COINCIDENCE THEORISTS CARE TO TAKE THIS ON?
January 14th, 2008 at 3:34 pmThe Washington Times September 10, 2001
68-page paper by the Army School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS) does provide a look at the daunting task any international peacekeeping force would face if the United Nations authorized it, and Israel and the Palestinians ever reached a peace agreement.
It calls Israel’s armed forces a “500-pound gorilla in Israel. Well armed and trained. Operates in both Gaza and the West Bank. Known to disregard international law to accomplish mission.
Of the MOSSAD, the Israeli intelligence service, the SAMS officers say: “Wildcard. Ruthless and cunning. Has capability to target U.S. forces and make it look like a Palestinian/Arab act.”
THEN – THE NEXT DAY – ON 9/11:
The five men — Sivan and Paul Kurzberg, Oded Ellner, Omer Marmari and Yaron Shmuel — were arrested eight hours after the attacks by the Bergen County, N.J., police while driving in an Urban Moving Systems van.
According to ABC’s 20/20, when the van belonging to the cheering Israelis was stopped by the police, the driver of the van, Sivan Kurzberg, told the officers:
“We are Israelis. We are not your problem. Your problems are our problems. The Palestinians are your problem.”
The FBI seized and developed their photos, one of which shows Sivan Kurzberg flicking a cigarette lighter in front of the smouldering ruins in an apparently celebratory gesture.
A few days after the attacks, Urban Moving System’s Israeli owner, Dominick Suter, dropped his business and fled the country for Israel.
It was later confirmed that the five detained Israelis were in fact Mossad agents. They were held in custody for 71 days before being quietly released. Some of the movers had been kept in solitary confinement for 40 days.
The men underwent at least two polygraph tests each. One of the Israelis took the test seven times, a very unusual total according to several polygraph experts interviewed by the Forward. All failed their tests.

January 14th, 2008 at 3:35 pmFour years ago, I too viewed “conspiracy theories” regarding 9/11 as outrageous. Having conducted literally thousands of hours of my own research – not any more.
The bottom line is that 9/11 REQUIRED a conspiracy, regardless of who you believe did it. The word “conspiracy” is a legal term. Larry Franklin and AIPAC conspired to transfer secret information on Iran to Israel. Scooter Libby and Dick Cheney conspired to out Valerie Plame as a CIA Agent. Jack Abramoff was charged with, among other things, “conspiracy.”
In your writing, you clearly stated that you “WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH.” This single statement is the key to solving any crime. Until EVERY American really comes to that conclusion, the government and the media will continue to have us under their spell.
How many times have you ever heard the words “conspiracy theory” used by the government or the media in a positive light? How about NEVER? Yet we all watch the who-done-it movies and TV shows that virtually REQUIRE the investigators to have a theory about the conspiracy in order to solve the crime.
Having a theory about a conspiracy cannot be an inherently bad thing, yet we’ve all been conditioned since the Kennedy assassination to believe that EVERY theory about a conspiracy is inherently unpatriotic, insane, wacko – or whatever other negative adjective the Media and the government have conditioned us to believe. How did we all come to accept that only the law enforcement community has the where with all to “think like a criminal” – investigate the means, motive and opportunity, understand whether multiple players might be involved (the very definition of “conspiracy”), and develop a THEORY about the most logical explanation with respect to who committed the crime, and why?
It is a fact that five Mossad Agents were arrested in New York on 9/11, after having been witnessed celebrating (Google: “Dancing Israelis”). Who else celebrated in New York on 9/11? Shouldn’t we start to unravel the thread right there?
This one incident is the beginning of a path of logic that DOES NOT FIT the official government explanation of 9/11. This was the starting point for all of my research. How is it that five foreign agents were apprehended, found to have explosive, cash and box-cutters in their possession, were interrogated for six weeks, failed seven polygraph tests, and were quietly released by Israeli Citizen, Michael Chertoff?
Forget everything else you know or think you know about 9/11 and explain that single incident. You can’t. It Happened. It can only mean one thing.
Now – WHO WANTS TO KNOW THE TRUTH?
How badly do you want to know?
Pull the thread – and the entire story quickly unravels.
Means: (Sysplan, Ptech, Comverse, Mitre, Raytheon)
Motive: PNAC Implementation
Opportunity: Installation of NeoCon Cabal
The conspiracy was primarily between Likud (and their agents within the United States – Wolfowitz, Feith, Libby, Wurmser, Ledeen, Zelikow, Rhode, Rove, Rumsfeld, Cheney, Miller, Zakheim, Alexander, etc.) and the GHW Bush controlled CIA and Shadow Government.
GHW Bush is the largest drug dealer on earth. He uses CIA aircraft to run drugs. Afghanistan just had a bumper crop for ol “Poppy.” This is one of the means by which the globalists are able to fund their agenda outside of the Congressional budget process. Congress has been totally neutered. they DO NOT control the spending of the Shadow Government. While acting as “Comptroller” at DOD in the months prior to 9/11, Dov Zakheim stole $7 TRILLION and off-shored it to Israel. THAT’S YOUR MONEY.
Are you a coincidence theorist – or would you prefer to know the truth?

Alternet.com has a great article about how this hyped Iranian ” speed boat threat ” was timed for Bush’s arrival and how the complicit U.S. infotainers didn’t ask any questions , just regurgitated the Pentagon’s phony story .
January 14th, 2008 at 4:30 pmAnd isn’t it nice that instead of going after this contrived story , CNN & others always begin with some diversionary, hyped story with Clinton and Race, Obama and Race . We are being played people .
Bush dumps another 20 BILLION worth of WEAPONS into the middle east and CNN’s first concern is ALWAYS Israel , not the general proliferation of ARMS , not that the U.S. is the biggest arms dealer , however the only problem is Israel NEVER objected to the deal and like a little loyal little LAPDOG Ed Henry repeats bush’s hyped allegations , (didn’t even quote him) that Saudi Arabia needs the weapons ” because of the IRANIAN threat ” . We are being played people .Reminds of the article at Jane’s Intelligence about Israel selling tank parts to …drum roll IRAN , a couple years back, showing the Iranian “threat” even to Israel is hyped .
This NATIONAL ID card, should be a top story but no , it’s being shoved under the carpet , because of Political Polls , who said what to whom, and hyping every little comment or issue ,providing a nice diversion for the American people .
Remember sanctimonius Donald Rumsfeld blabbing on about the ‘kind of people who chop peoples’ heads off’?
What kind of savages would do such a thing?

Partly correct. If the polls are overwhelmingly negative toward the adminsitration – and they are – most would want to know why are the so overwhelmingly negative. Bush is a uniter: He has united the entire world – except other dictators and torturers – against him. That’s quite a trick, no?
If the poll asks about the direction of the nation, then it is not about popularity – as you claim – it is about the question being asked.
If the poll speaks to the War, again it is not about anyones popularity, it is about the war.
When the poll asks about education, the environment, corruption it is not asking if bush is popular; it is asking your feelings on these issues.
When, and if, the polls asks if they like bush – then you are correct, it is a popularity contest. And he would fail that standard also.

January 14th, 2008 at 5:36 pmCaptain, your point about popularity has merit, but the problem with your argument is that there is an implicit comparison to Lincoln and Truman. Lincoln is widely regarded as the greatest president in American history and Truman is appreciated for his tremendous courage, forsight and especially for assuming personal responsibility (”the buck stops here”). Bush looks like a petulant little whiner in comparison to these giants.

January 14th, 2008 at 6:41 pmCaptain: “To be honest, if the situation in the Middle East improved greatly (even despite what may be considered poor policy) Bush would probably be given some credit, and remembered more favorably.”
Considering the fact that his policy has already had the effect of creating what Middle East experts call a “vast Shiite arc” across the middle of the entire area, I honestly can’t imagine why anyone will ever think of him or his policy in a favorable light regarding this part of his foreign policy. The “arc” has already created a situation which greatly increases Iran’s clout and emboldens the Shiite factions in Syria and Lebanon further endangering Israel and the Sunni dictatorships on the Arabian penninsula. It looks to me like this policy will further destablize the entire region for years to come and I see less chance of democratic governments emerging than even before, when at least you had a secular dictator who would have eventually died or been assasinated by Iraqis themselves.
January 14th, 2008 at 6:59 pmFinally a success. Bush has succeeded in winning the least popular leader in the world contest.

An open letter to George W. Bush. – UAE press editorial
Abu Dhabi, Jan 11th, 2008 (WAM): In an unusual style, the Dubai-based Gulf News published today a front page editorial addressing the American President George W. Bush. The editorial, in the form of an open ‘Letter to George W. Bush’ read: ‘Dear Mr. President, On the occasion of your first official trip to this vital region, it is only appropriate to raise a few points which might also be raised by the leaders you meet. Unfortunately, you landed here with prejudice and pre-formed opinions. By describing Israel, moments after you arrived, as the ‘land of freedom’ and ‘justice’, you have shown total ignorance of the political situation in the Middle East and the issue you claim to want to solve in the remaining 12 months of your presidency. Israel, Mr. President, continues to defy every UN resolution, exercise unprecedented oppression on the occupied Palestinian people and persecute its Muslim and Christian population.
‘We realise that containing Iran, selling more weapons and securing cheap oil supplies are the main issues on your mind as you tour the region. But you need to look beyond the neocon rhetoric and speak directly to the people who have been unjustly thrown out of their land, victimised for decades by your ’strong ally’ Israel.
‘As for other matters, such as the promise of democracy and human rights, which you are expected to raise in your official talks in the region, we really don’t take them seriously. Your dreadful record on both gives you no moral right to lecture others’.
Gulf News continued its open letter in its usual editorial page: ‘Lest you forget. Invasion of Iraq. Thousands of dead. Looting the National Museum. Disbanding the Iraqi army. Donald Rumsfeld. Shock and Awe. Jay Garner. Paul Bremer. Inciting sectarianism. Abu Ghraib.
