That’s great news for Dems. Romney hasn’t a chance to beat any Democrat in the general election. McCain, on the other hand, will beat the pants off of Clinton hands down. Against Obama, it will be tougher for McCain but no guarantee for Democrats.
Demonstrably, he has an IQ statistically significantly different from zero, isn’t demonstrably bonkers aside from his narcissism, and doesn’t actually believe in anything. That’s a big improvement over much of his opposition.
LOL – Dems counting their chickens before they are hatched. Romney has an outstanding record on economic success from his own businesses, so as the economy becomes a bigger issue, he continues to rise.
With Romney against any Democrat, his economic policies will trump health care, unions and environment. Good luck with that.
Fred Thompson is like a tiger laying in the grass waiting to pounce. In his case though, the tiger has fallen asleep.
SUSA just did a poll pitting Clinton, Giuliani and Bloomberg in a presidential election. Hillary won with 61%, Bloomberg came in second, St, Rudy, America’s Mayor! came in third.

Interesting that before Michigan Romney had more delegates (barely) than McCain, but was considered about to collapse. This poll worship (horse race calling) and uber analysis is reprehensible and manipulative. Same for Edwards and Clinton, you’d think they were done from the media and maybe they will be (due to the stampeding the media’s doing). The media is fomenting the racial tensions between Obama and Clinton. I hope the bloggers won’t allow themselves to be a reverb chamber.
Thank the stars that Huckabible didn’t win. He wants to change the constitution to match the good-book. Isn’t that the christian equivalent of Sharia law? they are a right fu(kin’ scary bunch these repugnicants, eh?
At least 50% of the Dems did not have there candidate on the ballot. I haven’t looked into it much but why the hell was Hillary on the ballot and not Obama or Edwards? I am thinking dirty pool on DLC/Hillary’s part.
You’re right, I was looking at the results with only about 10% tallied (enough that Romney was assured victory, but not enough to be accurate with the more marginal results.)
Still, his showing WAS stronger than Gulliani. But guess who’ll still get more regular media coverage??
Paul is the Kucinich of the Republican party — the guy the media is trying to silence before the voters even get a chance to cast their ballots….
It looks like Edwards and Obama decided to stay off the ballot because the Michigan Dem party decided to buck the national Dem party by moving their primary up. There are no delegates so Michigan is worthless this year.
POST #2: “Romney hasn’t a chance to beat any Democrat in the general election. McCAIN, on the other hand, will beat the pants off of Clinton hands down.”
Say what? CNN Nationwide Poll, Jan. 10: CLINTON 50%, McCAIN: 48%

If I heard correctly, The Obama and Edwards camps chose not to be involved, based on the Dem. Party decision. Correct me if I have that wrong.

You are correct. The Michigan Democratic Party moved their primary upto January against DNC rules. All candidates, except Clinton and Kucinich signed a pledge to keep their names off the ballot. I’m thinking Hillary got her name on the ballot just to piss off Howard Dean.
Yes!

That quote comes from Mark Kleiman. Mark Kleiman is NOT a “Republican blogger” by any stretch of the imagination.

January 15th, 2008 at 10:43 pmAs #9 points out, the interesting result here is Ron Paul’s showing.
With Paul getting double digits, will the MSM continue to ignore the Republicans’ only candidate against the Iraq War and American Empire?
