Chris Matthews has advanced the idea that Mayor Giuliani remains a viable candidate “…just because Giuliani hasn’t been beaten yet.” This claim is demonstrably false. As noted, Giuliani has been repeatedly ‘crushed’ where his name appeared on a ballot or was offered up as a caucus candidate.

Chris Matthews has made NO equivalent claim whatsoever regarding the viability of Representative Kucinich.

You cannot reasonably introduce a comparative narrative regarding these two candidates and not expect to be slapped silly. You’re illogical and irrelevant attempt to divert attention from the slothful, shoddy and deeply biased observations attributed to Chris Matthews is, on its face, ridiculous.

Where were you when they offered that introductory logic class, anyway?

Exactly. The Matthews comment was simply saying “some people” aren’t counting Giuliani out of the race because he hasn’t been beaten in a state in which he has had a major presence. Seriously, there are enough real reasons to criticize Matthews without inventing them. ;)
