You really do need to work on your reading comprehension skills.

The headline was meant as a spoof of FoxNews’ spin.

That can be clearly noticed by anyone with as much as an ounce of gray matter, something you clearly lack.

now that thompson clearly had other motivations for cancelling his appearance, will TP retract its prejudicial claim?

There is nothing to retract because it is not a claim, as anyone who read beyond the headline -anyone with a long enough attention span- would have quickly noticed.

if not, then what is TPâ€™s real function (and tax payer funded) in a democracy? to pursue an agenda, or inform its users?

Spare us your faux outrage. Nobody is forcing you to stay here, and you are in no position to be correcting anyone.

It is a SAD day for REAL Conservatives as Fred Thompson drops out. Maybe, he’ll win by dropping out and coming back as John McCain’s Veep candidate. We certainly don’t need Mitt (FALSE Conservative) Romney or Rudy “9/11″ Giuiliani.

I still remember Russert and Matthews breathlessly talking about his “manliness” and his “magnetism.” Matthews said he could “almost smell the Aqua Velva” whatever the hell that means. They had major mancrushes on ole’ Fred.

Best thing about Fred slinking off to take another nap: this will give a big boost to Huckelberry. Huckelberry is now the only guy left for bible-thumping religious fanatics! And, Darlaloon evidently holds TP to a very high standard. In Darlaloon’s tortured mind, TP SHOULD be able to tell the future.

Please, darlaloonie, the white House has been nothing but a front for the rape of the treasury and enrichment of arms dealers for 7 years. TP is needed to pursue an agenda of destroying the GOP before it destroys the USA

and to do so, TP must make false and/or prejudicial claims.

Thompson always liked the idea of being president, he just didnâ€™t like the idea of running for president. And he certainly didnâ€™t like all the extra work it took.

Thompson reminded me of Perot in some ways, in that he wasn’t really interested in running to begin with. He was just interested in getting his face out there and grabbing a few headlines. With his half-assed effort at running for president, I fear that he would have been a less than stellar president.
