Besides – after liberals publicly stated that they hoped Tony Snow would die of cancer, nobody cares if your feelings get hurt anymore.

Does the Bible not say, “let he without sin cast the first stone.”? What makes Gibson think that he is somehow in a position to judge anyone or smear their name or reputation – particularly a person who is deceased?! We all fall short of perfection. We all are sinners and deserve hell. NO ONE merits heaven or respect because of their own ‘good works’. Jesus came for all people – he loves us all – even when we are “unloveable”. Is Gibson above God?! NOT! All he is doing is trying to create sensationalist “journalism” and incite others into a hatemongering frenzy. What good can he possibly be thinking he is doing?! This Gibson is a prime example of the worst representation of an American Christian (USA). No wonder most of the world hates America/ns – when they see us represented by someone like Gibson! He needs to be working in a dark room with numbers – AWAY from human beings – preferably in another galaxy! I don’t believe that God condones homosexuality & he doesn’t condone lying, cheating, stealing, killing, gossiping, fornication, etc. etc. In fact he hates all those things and more. But there is such a thing as respecting people and loving them. Shame on Gibson! He better pray that others will be kinder to him than he is to others. He is in for a very rude awakening.

I never heard of John Gibson till I was directed to this site from another. I agree his verbal venom is despicable, so why are so many people watching him? If he has no audience, FOX will toss him out like a carton of rotten eggs. Also, he doesn’t seem to understand the difference between real and fantasy. Does he thing Keifer Southerland is really a gov’t. agent? Or that James Gandolfino is a mob boss?

Hi all. Loads of very clever guys out there posting comments on this and much else, but can I ask you if your efforts would be better spent aiming your wisdom and wit at the targets themselves. Site is fab source of info, and debate always good, but most are the converted it seems. Just a thought that time can be better spent?

No offence intended to anyone. Would boards be better used to add info or correct errors rather than repetition of same sentiments we all by and large appear to agree with?

i know you’ve heard a thousand times what a cold hearted idiot you are. so i’ll spare you that opinion. what i will say is that i can’t wait for the day when your death/funeral is broadcast on the news (if you’re even worthy enough to be mentioned) and we can all listen to the remarks people will be making about you and their memories of you. i doubt they will contain one kind and thoughtful word.

You may not agree with the lifestyle depicted in the film that Mr. Ledger starred in but you didn’t need to share that on the day of his untimely death. As a heterosexual male, I may not condone that lifestyle but I do respect others right to choice. Perhaps thinking about his two year old daughter and family would be a more compassionate stance.

Like the woman from the Golf Channel, who made inappropriate comments perhaps a little time off or even losing you job would be in order.

Many great musicians and actors have died as a result of drugs, purposely or not and no-one deserves to be treated that way.

i have just got back from being in australia for 3 months as i have family there and the towns have such a close-knit community i’m sure they are all missing Heath terribly. I have never met him but always admired his films and talent, he was very dignified not getting caught up in all the press by keeping his life private. Thats what his family should be able to mourn in private. i don’t know why but i cry sometimes, people won’t leave him be and his daughter probably doesn’t understand yet. he will be missed and has millions of fans who support and love him.
i hope when you are laid to rest in Perth Heath, that it will be quiet and peaceful for you.

At the ripe old of age of 48 (that myself I’m referring to here), I have TRULY COME TO “KNOW” THAT THOSE WHO SCREAM THE LOUDEST ABOUT A ‘CONTROVERSIAL ISSUE’ ARE USUALLY GUILTY THEMSELVES OF A SIMILIAR ‘OFFENSE’. Heth Ledger, as far as I know about him, was NOT GAY. He took a career risk by playing a gay character in an intelligent, truthful, and understanding film like “Brokeback”. He is not gay……..I have never heard one “ounce of gossip (which in itself, of course, is hardly ‘reliable’) about his “sexual orientation”. He died an early death, full of potential as an actor, and it remains a sad time for us all and, most importantly, his family. To mock him and make CHEAP, LOW-CLASS REMARKS ABOUT THE FILM OR SPECULATE ABOUT HIS PRIVATE LIFE IS REPREHENSIBLE, Mr. Gibson. Especially from you who make “how much money” making crude, cruel, humorless remarks about just about anybody you don’t care for. Again, based upon your website picture here, I’d say you were a closet case, certainly on par with that Senator a few months ago cruising airport bathrooms in Minnesota. The death of Heath Ledger came as a shock to the entire world. I for one do not find it amusing that someone so heartless could make any kind of a joke out of it. Death is no laughing matter. No matter who’s life it is being taken away, it shouldn’t be a joke to anyone. No one is promised tomorrow. And we see proof of that with the recent and shocking deaths of actors Brad Renfro and Heath Ledger. And to hear someone even blurt out such a disrespectful joke towards Heath’s death shows how much of a sick and heartless coward John Gibson really is. Whether he meant anything by it or not, it wasn’t funny. The world lost something when Heath died. They lost a legend, a son, a brother, a father, a cousin, a friend, a soul mate, etc. So where do you see the joke in this? It’s not a laughing matter when a 2 year old little girl has to grow up not really knowing anything about her father. It’s not a laughing matter when a mother and a father will never see their son again and never hear his voice again. It is not a laughing matter when a sister will never be able to hug her brother again and never be able to say, “I love you bro” to him again. So where is the joke? If you can see it, then you’re just as heartless as Gibson is. Because I don’t see it. I don’t see where a life taken away from such an extraordinary human being is funny. If you had any heart, you would take this as seriously as I and a lot of other people do and you would want to do something about this.
