So Clinton gave the green light for Operation Desert Fox in 1998. Correct.

But whose idea was it? Read this letter. Read who signed it:

Do the names sound familiar? And do you think this letter was their only act of influence?

Face it folks. We were lied to continually by this administration. Now I know it hurts when people finally realize that what they've sent their sons and daughters to die for was a lie but that has been made painfully evident.

The rational people in the world learn when to admit they were taken for a ride.

Bigfoot hasn't come out of the cave of shadows yet. He would rather view the impressions created by others than the real world.

<em>Face it, folks. The CPI study is a partisan hit job, nothing more.

Other than a few libs, the bulk of America doesn’t believe, nor do they care about, the CPI study.

Comment by O. Bigfoot — January 24, 2008 @ 3:01 am</em>

What's not to believe?

Do you dispute the statements that are PART OF THE PUBLIC RECORD?

Or do you dispute the context in which they're presented?

Please explain what's not to believe. Did the officials cited actually NOT say the things attributed to them? Or were the things they said actualy proven TRUE?

Which is it, O'Bigfool?

Here we go again....why do these foolish trolls think they can actually defend objective researched and verified facts against their verbal denials.....you/we all know the truth and you just make yourself look petty....which you are...give it up and try to argue something that is not already a historical fact......this is not over and it will come up again and again....too many crimes...no one so far doing the time....that will changed.

the American people are awakening to your lies.......get your kleenex ready cause your greasy leaders are going down.....it's actually already started...many of your hero's are already in jail or facing it....

The administration would like to pretend (lie) about only being part of a stupid herd and not being able to stop and think for itself before spreading lies that have led to a disastrous war.

The facts are, this administration was the provocature of the herd. Waving the red flag in front of their faces screaming WAR, WAR, WAR. And if you will remember correctly, not very many went along. Several countries were able to step back and see the lies and the provocation for what it was. Bush had to bribe many small countries into going along with the neocons blood and oil lust.

The administration not only lied to the people of the United States into going to war, but they lied to the world. Some bought the lie, for their own reasons (greed) and others didn't. But the lies BEGAN from this White House.

Who was we who "thought as a collective body that there were
WMD", Ms Perino??

Even though that was true (it wasn't), but believing in faulty
intelligence and going to war based on it are 2 different things.
Is the Bush Administration an unwitting victim of bad intelligence
as it persistently claims? If so, why hasn't it apologized for the
war on error? Rather, it says the war was the right thing to do
regardless of the WMD. Oh? Does that mean WMD was irrelevant?
Then why saying it 532 times?

Repeating an irrelevant thing for 532 times is an indication of lying.
Have I got your attention?

The day Clinton left office, the chemical and biological weapons from the 1980's (the stuff doesn't last 15-20 years) had not been accounted for----but that does not mean Iraq had them. Clinton had ordered out the inspectors because we wanted to bomb some more and it would have been dangerous for them. They came back in in late 2002. They looked everywhere they knew to look and could find nothing. They begged the Bush administration to suggest where they should look. The White House ordered them out.

Saddam turned over a 20,000 page report detailing what had happened to the chemical and biological weapons from the past. Twenty seconds later Bush discounted it. BTW, it was true.

The only way an invasion is legal is by passing the UN Security Council. When we realized the vote would be four in favor and eleven opposed (remember, we had their phones tapped), we withdrew the proposal. Therefore, the invasion was illegal. The UN Charter is also the law of the USA--since we signed it.

Two statements in Bush State of the Union Speech Jan 2003 were known lies eleven months before he said them: 1)Iraq was trying to acquire uranium from Africa
2)the aluminum tubes were suitable for nuclear weapons.

The meeting in Prague was a lie
the drones were a lie
the shack in the north was a lie
the ties to al Qaeda was a lie
ready to launch in 45 minutes was a lie
the mobile weapons labs were a lie

Powell's speech at the UN was based on Curveball, and they were known to be lies before the speech was given. Tenet let Powell go ahead with the speech anyway.

Presidential candidate John Edwards on 10/7/02:

<blockquote><a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=U2JfndMusfc" rel="nofollow">"My position is very clear: The time has come for decisive action to eliminate the threat posed by Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction. I'm a co-sponsor of the bipartisan Resolution that's presently under consideration in the Senate. Saddam Hussein's regime is a grave threat to America and our allies. We know that he has chemical and biological weapons today, that he's used them in the past, and that he's doing everything he can to build more. Every day he gets closer to his long-term goal of nuclear capability.

Democracy will not spring up by itself overnight in a multi-ethnic, complicated society that's suffered under one repressive regime after another for generations. The Iraqi people deserve and need our help to rebuild their lives and to create a prosperous, thriving, open society. All Iraqis, including Sunnis, Shia and Kurds, deserve to be represented. This is not just a moral imperative. It's a security imperative. It is in America's national interest to help build an Iraq at peace with itself and its neighbors, because a democratic, tolerant and accountable Iraq will be a peaceful regional partner, and such an Iraq could serve as a model for the entire Arab world." </a></blockquote>

Bill Clinton on 7/22/03:

I'll spare you all the dozens upon dozens of other comments by American Democrats - and Republicans - who came to a judgment, often independent of the administration's rhetoric, that Iraq was a threat.

Presidential candidate John Edwards on 10/7/02:

“My position is very clear: The time has come for decisive action to eliminate the threat posed by Saddam Hussein’s weapons of mass destruction. I’m a co-sponsor of the bipartisan Resolution that’s presently under consideration in the Senate. Saddam Hussein’s regime is a grave threat to America and our allies. We know that he has chemical and biological weapons today, that he’s used them in the past, and that he’s doing everything he can to build more. Every day he gets closer to his long-term goal of nuclear capability.

Democracy will not spring up by itself overnight in a multi-ethnic, complicated society that’s suffered under one repressive regime after another for generations. The Iraqi people deserve and need our help to rebuild their lives and to create a prosperous, thriving, open society. All Iraqis, including Sunnis, Shia and Kurds, deserve to be represented. This is not just a moral imperative. It’s a security imperative. It is in America’s national interest to help build an Iraq at peace with itself and its neighbors, because a democratic, tolerant and accountable Iraq will be a peaceful regional partner, and such an Iraq could serve as a model for the entire Arab world.”

Bill Clinton on 7/22/03:

I got so ungry reading Perino's bimbo lies and white washes... there was never a 'Coalition of the willing", it was coalition of the right-winged government that were with the War Criminal Bush or were coerced to do so. These governments are currently out of office for following The war criminals in the White house. They were voted out! Here in Australia, our Prime Minister is getting out of Iraq. He received the mandate to do that when the people of Australia voted Jonny Coward out. We knew we were lied to, and we knew that the lies came from Washington. Here’s a site I just discovered, “Fundies say the Darndest Things”. It’s a tremendous example of Fundamentalist “logic”. I wonder how many of our trolls have been quoted there?

Clinton was impeached for one lie. Martha Stewart served 5 months in prison for lying. How does it work these days? The first 925 lies are now free?

I want to live long enough to see these thugs answer for everything they've done, and everyone they've hurt!

One lie, mistake, error, misstatement, misrepresentation or uncertainty, is too much; when on the path to war. Bushco and the neocons have turned the U.S. into a criminal nation. With a great deal of luck and, thus far undeserved, forgiveness we might be able to reclaim our standing among nations. In a hundred years or so.

But their crimes will never be forgotten.
