O’Reilly: ‘I really don’t go’ on the Internet.»

Last night, Fox News host Bill O’Reilly asked Mary Katherine Hall of Townhall.com if she saw “anything really egregious on the Internet” regarding the death of actor Heath Ledger. Ham said that she “was fairly surprised that people were generally sympathetic towards him and behaving themselves.” (Guess O’Reilly and Ham missed the comments by John Gibson.) Watch it:

O’Reilly also admitted, “I don’t, as you know — I don’t live on the Net. I have to use it for writing purposes, and sometimes I’ll research on it, but I don’t really go.”

Digg It!

How do you find out what’s being said about you on MMFA, Bill?

How do you cherry pick quotes from DailyKos, Bill?

  6. PeterW Says:

Billo finds it hard to find people on the internet interested in the story of the story of the time he went to Shelbyville with an onion tied to his belt, as that was the fashion at the time…

  10. missmolly Says:

Why would O’Reilly even ask such a question? Did he ask if there was “anything really egregious on the Internet” regarding the deaths of Suzanne Pleshette or Lois Nettleton — other entertainers who died this month? How about Bobby Fisher? Or Sir Edmund Hillary?

The only reason I can think of for O’Reilly asking this is if he believes Ledger’s death is somehow worthy of “egregious” comments.

Bill-o: “I don’t, as you know — I don’t live on the Net. I have to use it for writing purposes, and sometimes I’ll research on it, but I don’t really go.”..except when I’m checking the live camera I had installed in the ladies room @ Faux News….and when I’m “googling” myself…other than that, not much.

Liar. Who can forget his infatuation with Daily Kos? Bill O spent weeks sparring with them.

If he doesn’t ‘go on’ the internet, how did he know so much about Dkos?

    Comment by Blackacre

People pay to go on Bildo’s website?!?! They must be the same dumbasses who are buying Jonah Goldberg’s book which says that Mussolini was a Socialist.

Some people are too stupid to be trusted with money.

    She obviously missed the freepers.

  21. Toss these losers Says:

Too much time on the Net might pop Bildo’s little bubble view of reality.

Keep pimpin those website subscriptions of yours while making those comments, Bill. Makes you look like a bigger dope.

    One of two reasons:

    1) He really doesn’t go on the internet, or even do his own research on anything. He has staffers do everything for him, and takes their word for any tripe they hand him.

    OR

    2) He’s lying through his teeth.

Sounds like a pretty standard way to dodge the Gibson controversy, missmolly. “Did you hear about anything we should talk about? No? Neither did I.”

He kinda thinks he dealt with it, but he doesn’t have to even mention anyone’s name. He thinks he’s presenting this facade of reasonableness (which he loves to do) without actually being reasonable about anything.

    “I really don’t go on the internet”…

I have a feeling this is going to be the next “I don’t even own a TV” from pretentious pseudointellectuals.

  33. xdevildawg4u Says:

She was “fairly SURPRISED that people were sympathetic to him…”?

What the hell is that all about? She was surprised that people were sympathetic?

I guess when you are heartless, thoughtless and evil things like that would surprise you.

  34. spyder Says:

I don’t, as you know — I don’t live on the Net. I have to use it for writing purposes, and sometimes I’ll research on it, but I don’t really go

So wait, let me get this correct. O’Lie-lly is admitting that he is in direct violations of his own WGA contract, by writing his show??? Or did he lie when he told the union he was winging it on the air since the strike? Or is he lying now about writing, to make people think he might be informed, knowing of course he isn’t. Or has he lied all the time and is so confused by it all that even he no longer knows what is true about himself? I suppose it is so much easier to just ignore him completely, that way his constant prevarications never matter anyhow.

  35. The Shadow Says:

All I’ve got to say to Bill O”reily is Kieth Olbermann, Kieth Olbermann. You are little billy boy, little, because you got no class, no sense of self esteem, you’re just ugly and little. Being 6′ 7″ doesn’t make you tall my friend. Not when you have a little mind.

  36. quebecois Says:
