You’re right that a lot of Hollywood “entertainment” presents lefty views. Unfortunately the problem is much greater than that. The majority of what they produce has neither a left nor right message, but is almost universally bad. That is the problem. ;)

Or are you admitting that Countdown is not a newscast? If that’s the case, that was my original point, before all the emotion and insults took over.

A simple “yes” or “no” from you folks would be appreciated. All this anger is toxic.

So a newscast doesn’t have to be objective if its orientation is leftist, because the leftist way of looking at things is The Truth. And The Truth is what matters in a newscast. I get it.

This actually coincides with a theory of mine. I believe the media is sincere when it says it’s not biased, because a vast majority of the media is leftist. When they “report” with a decidedly leftist slant (there are several ways to do this), they feel they are simply providing The Truth.

After two-plus decades in the industry, I’ve always been amazed at how “journalists” proudly slant the news but deny they’re slanting it. I think this theory of mine makes sense.

So Countdown doesn’t need to be objective, it doesn’t need to provide both sides of an issue, because it has a firm grasp on The Truth, and no other sides are needed.

I see. Absolutely fascinating.

Thank you for providing such a vivid example of the partisan sheepism I referred to in post 223: “You don’t agree with me, so you’re dumb.” This is just too easy. You folks just can’t HELP yourselves, CAN you?

If the bottom line of all your childish insults is that Countdown is an objective news broadcast, we’ll have to disagree. I gave examples, you responded with 7th grade attacks. That’s all I need to know.
