British military strained by Iraq and Afghanistan.»

Like U.S. troops, the UK’s military is overstretched by years in Iraq and Afghanistan. A report yesterday from the Commons defence committee said that “the British military has been operating at or above its planned capacity in seven of the last eight years and for every year since 2002.” It also notes that “Britain’s armed forces are failing to meet their own goals for recruiting and retaining personnel and also for obtaining equipment.”

Seems to be a trend here; young folks aren’t swallowing the nonsense politicians & military personnel sell.

Its OK, as Tony Blair made his money off this thing:

How much are English troops’ lives worth?

Apparently a bit over £500,000 annually

The poodle did it by following the idiot US President.
Now if another idiot President like McCain or Mitt get in they will bomb Iran without anyone other countries help. Americans do remember Bush said the US could go it alone, well we will. I watched the 9/11 attack from New Jersey and if the US is dumb enough to bomb Iran we will think that attack was peanuts compaired to what will happen. Don’t look for the UN to step in either. For those Americans who did read World History and remember the fall of the Roman Empire well you’ll get to see another great power fall.
Obama if elected will need two terms to learn as McCain already put in him his place for acting without thinking or knowing what to say and do. As Americans give the hate cheers for the Clintons, I can only remember who did the White House call to clean up the mess Bush made with the Katrina victims. Oh yes Bill Clinton, talk about him like a dog but when your on your knees call him to help. Bin Laden was correct the US would never have to be attacked again we will destroy ourselves. Even Senior Dem is positioning him/herself behind Obama as they can use him without him really knowing what’s going on. As for the so called Black candidate. History has shown most Black leaders are just figure heads one would think African Americans had learned that by now. But after seeing South Carolina voters I see nothing has changed. Americans aren’t looking for experience or qualifications in a President, their looking at this as the Oscars and with that we all lose.

This is totally off topic and I apologize.

    However,

I’m here to tell you, I feel I can guarantee you this.

    They will pass tel-comm immunity.

At that point, everyone should be able to tell (if they can’t already) that this country is over until the people rise up in anger.

I hope I’m wrong, but considering the last 7 years and especially since the dems rolled in, I can’t believe otherwise.

  6. Zimzone Says:

    4, Keith,
I don’t disagree on the telcom outcome, but laws can be reversed.

First, we reverse the Party in the WH.

Then, we reverse the fascist laws passed under GOPigdom.

  7. GSD Says:

Sec. Gates is running around blaming the disaster in Afghanistan on the allies who have graciously supported us and died in the fight in Afhganistan.

Now the UK is buckling and Canada is too.

Gates should do some straight talking and call Bush and incompetent co*ksucker and demand changes.

But he’s helping Chimpy’s daddy put lipstick on the pig.

    Helluva job Billy.

I agree, begin by rescinding the laws, executive orders and policies the idiot and his minions have imposed on us while starting criminal actions against those who have clearly broken the law.
