My point about russia and stalin is only that we should all question the relationship between popularity (or approval ratings) and effective policy.

If Stalin can get 47% approval in a poll after his reign, Iâ€™m not sure how much weight we should be giving to similar ratings.

uh, it’s called democracy. If not undermined it means we are all in this together and we make our decisions together and we live or die by those decisions……..democracy…..it’s risky business.

You might make a mistake which could have been avoided by having a tyrant as a leader such as Stalin……or maybe not……

Arn. Obviously, I have only counted the favorability or neutrality of 3 of the 194 countries. Iâ€™m not going to take the time, but obviously you could calculate all those with similar sentiment in the other 191 countries and the total would undoubtedly climb. My guess is probably more than 50%. Check it out and report back.
