President Bush’s close political adviser Karl Rove will reportedly be joining Fox News as an on-air contributor to be “used throughout Super Tuesday coverage.”
Yes, because otherwise, someone might accuse Fox of being biased. If you asked me for five people i’d want to spend their lives in prison, Karl Rove would be 3 of them.
He’s not “joining” FauxNoose, he’s been there all along. It’s just that he’s stepped out from behind the curtain for a change. I know I’m eagerly looking forward to his insight, especially into the Democratic primaries next week.
Smoke and mirrors…smoke and mirrors. He’s exactly the right inspiration for a country on the skids and in a deep depression. Yes, we will all sit mesmerized while shell game maestro does his thing.
So the biggest propgandist in U.S. history joins Fox “News”. This just solidifies the fact that Fox is blatantly a Repub entertainment station. With very ignorant viewers.
Rove is a good case study of the danger of allowing persons with undiagnosed psychoses in positions of power. Especially if the power they wield is behind the scenes, out of the public eye.
This is why FNC is the most trusted and most watched cable news channel.

Of course. I trust Faux News completely to toe the BushCo line.
With CNN or MSNBC, you never know if you’re going to get an outbreak of decent journalism in between the Chimpy leg-humping. With Faux, there’s never a question of decent journalism breaking out. You can trust that it won’t happen.
This month marked the sixth consecutive year that FNC led the cable networks in total viewership, in total day and prime time. It also was a milestone month for FNC, which secured 14 out of the top 16 programs in cable news in total viewers and eight of the top 11 programs in the A25-54 demo (live only data).
FNC finished the month in fourth place in prime time among all basic cable channels. CNN finished 20th in prime time (despite the strong ratings from primary and debate coverage) while MSNBC was 28th.
Click here to see the entire Nielsen Cable Ranker for January 2008.
• Also up for FNC: their morning programs, Fox & Friends is up year-to-year in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo. It was the only 7-9amET program in cable news to show demo gains. America’s Newsroom (9-11amET) showed gains of 18% in the demo versus just 2% for CNN Newsroom and 9% for MSNBC Live during the same hours.
Fox News Channel ranked 6th in prime time in 10th in total day (Live only data) for basic cable channels. FNC moved up two spots from 2006 (FNC was 8th in prime in 2006; 10th in total day). CNN ranks 26th in prime, down a spot from 25th last year. In total day CNN ranked 26th for 2006 and again in 2007.
And Faux’s total audience is small compared to regular network television.
Sh*t, what do I care? I don’t even watch television anymore, cable or network.
You can be as synchophantic as you want, it doesn’t mean a thing.
If Faux is so important, why does 70% of the population despise Brusch so much? After all, Faux does nothing but sing the little monster’s praises endlessly. I mean, if Faux was so influential, you’d think more folks would be toeing the party line, huh?
I’m not even sure why you think this matters, especially to anyone, other than you.
mmm on air contributor? - i’m guessing that the contributions that he will make will be smearing hillary at every opportunity and probably throwing in a few cheap shots at bill while he’s at it
If there is a god, then the spy satellite that is heading for an uncontrolled re-entry will crash into the set while the pillsbury doughboy, lerch, from the addams family, loofah boy and halfwit hannity are preening.
In 2004, on the night of the New Hampshire primary, for example, Fox News beat CNN by 200,000 viewers, despite the fact that there was no Republican contest at the time. Four years later, CNN beat Fox News by 250,000 viewers, despite very competitive contests in both parties. (On Saturday night, when results of the Dems’ South Carolina primary were dominating the news, Fox News came in third, behind both CNN and MSNBC.)
CNN President Jonathan Klein, following its New Hampshire ratings win, said, “There’s a freshness and exuberance to our coverage that the others just aren’t matching…. Fox almost seems downright despondent in their coverage.â€

alan colmes is the only leftist who appears on a show on faux regularly, and yet he doesn’t even get his own show. Faux has nothing but far, far reich-wing extremists from morning to night. Don’t let facts stand in the way of your hissy fit.
Now they just have to get InsHannity, Tr.Anne Coulter, Ben Gleck, O’Biley and Karly onstage at the same time so Satan will materialize in person and take them all away to the anti-rapture…
Maybe on FOX Rove can explain to the army of dullards called the GOP “base” how he turned a President with over 80% approval rating to the loser with no hope of finishing his term in the 30%-range. And why he saw fit to discuss the covert status of a CIA agent with members of the press.
