“(CBS) An American businesswoman was carted off to jail by religious police in Saudi Arabia for sitting with a male colleague at a Starbucks in Riyadh, the Times of London reported.

The woman, who spent a day behind bars, was strip-searched and forced to sign a false confession before being released, the newspaper said. The Times declined to publish her name at her request.

The 37-year-old businesswoman works for a finance company in Riyadh. Her problem began when her office lost electricity. She and her male colleagues then went to a nearby Starbucks to use the coffee shop’s Internet connection.

She sat with a male colleague in the Starbucks’ family area, the only place women are allowed to sit with men.

“Some men came up to us with very long beards and white dresses. They asked ‘Why are you here together?’ I explained about the power being out in our office. They got very angry and told me what I was doing was a great sin,” she told the Times.

She’s guilty of being the object of an 16-year slime-thowing fest by vile right wingers. She’s guilty of being hated by elitist media pundits who bought into this slimefest for years and now would like to cover their tracks. And people who “just have a feeling” about Hillary Clinton are guilty of being moronic tools who have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by this slimefest and the media’s cooperation with it. Now, I actually think there are cogent arguments against Clinton, but when I hear someone say they “just have a feeling” or they “don’t think she’s authentic,” or they “think she’s lying,” I just want to throw a big cream pie in their face.

Romney (and McCain) will attempt to use the terror card again and again against Dems, claiming that no attacks for 7 years means they’re right.
They conveniently forget that the attack that occurred in the first month of a Democratic administration (1993) was resolved with intelligence and police work; the perpetrators were caught, tried and imprisoned. (The previous Bush administration wasn’t blamed.)

Insofar as the attack on the Cole (which did not occur on domestic soil) in late 2000, it was not until the end of the year when the mastermind was identified. Bush was told of the information and Bush&Co chose to ignore the pursuit.

The repugs do NOT have a good record on security, but they continue to say they do and people continue to believe it.

Oh, oh…Here comes Daryll. A bible in one hand, a waterboard in the other – just like God wants it.

The religious right is the most hypocritial group of losers ever to walk the earth. More divorces, more suicides, more domestic abuse, lower education, lower standard of living, more alcoholism and prescription drug abuse. All the things which gives Daryll and his crowd that warm fuzzy feeling.

If God does exist, he/she wouldn;t appreciate your way of doing things Daryll.
