That article is about Russian Oil, nothing about the middle east.

That isn’t possible in every state. Many have more stringent, lengthy requirements to switch which party you vote for in a primary. No last-minute sort of thing. Moreover, many of the Republican turnouts are average, but the Democratic turnouts are breaking records. This isn’t just freak Republican spoiler votes.

If the Republicans ARE trying to vote Obama in because they think he’d be easier to defeat in the general election, I think they are making a horrific tactical mistake on the GOP’s part. Hillary has topped out at around a 40-45% approval rating for years now, when in the White House and when in the Senate. That seems to be her popularity cap. Obama does not have the same problem. In this case, his “inexperience” (not politically, merely his inexperience at being in the public spotlight) is in all likelihood a strength, not a weakness. Hillary Clinton’s existence in the public spotlight for 15+ years, and all of the accompanying vitriol she is endlessly subject to, is a weakness in her campaign, not the strength she no doubt wishes it were.

I think there are a lot of Republicans voting for Obama on the Democratic side. They would rather face Obama than Hillary in the general election. Remember, the members of the “Free Republic” web site were celebrating when Obama won the Iowa caucus.

Barack Obama didn’t just beat Hillary in Virginia. He didn’t just get more votes than John McCain. In “red” Virginia, Obama got 142,000 more votes than all the Republicans put together. And that was with Hillary Clinton taking 100,000 more votes than John McCain.

He kicked butt, took names, and did it with both hands tied behind his back.

Oh, and in Maryland, with 40% of the vote in, Hillary is beating all Republicans put together while losing by 27%. You could probably limit Democrats to only left-handed voters, or red-haired voters, or left-handed red-haired voters whose names start with ‘Q,’ and the Republicans would still be in trouble.

Um, no one understands your diatribes Weiner. But keep talking bud, your sponsors must love this,… it makes their decision to bail on you that much easier.

By the way, what is so “undemocratic” about not excluding the military from the national debate? The neocons sure wanted those military votes during the Florida recount, going so far as charging that the anti-military Democrats were trying to disenfranchise the troops, and demanding that the voice of the troops be heard loud and clear.

What a difference a war makes.
