FBI received unauthorized e-mail access.

As a result of a “technical glitch,” in 2006, the FBI received access to “e-mail messages from an entire computer network — perhaps hundreds of accounts or more — instead of simply the lone e-mail address that was approved by a secret intelligence court as part of a national security investigation.” The episode is an example of a “regular if little-noticed occurrence,” but has received “no discussion” in the congressional debate over expanding the government’s wiretapping powers.

And what was done with the content of these E-mails. Were they destroyed as the law requires.

    Never mind.

  2. Badger says:

What happens to e-mails that are accidentaly intercepted?
What happens to FISA approved communication intercepts that turn out to be NOT involved with terrorism?

And how do we know that’s what happens to them?

I am not racist. I am merely revealing the circumstances that lead to the deaths of RFK are emerging again. Meanwhile, another article about how paternalistic policies, which failed in the US, are being promoted for sub-Saharan Africa:

    http://www.city-journal.org/2008/18_1_paternalism.html

The author states it far better than I ever could – your policies kill entire cultures. If I were racist, I would be supporting your policies, so you should probably look among your compatriots for racists.

American systems can only track 20 metres in accuracy

European satelites can track to 1 metre , almost enough to drive a car

Mobile phones can be listened in on , even when switched OFF, take the battery out

Some terrorists have been on the phone , a couple minutes later they get hit by a missile

Phones pick out keywords and auto matically start a recording process

a cell phone track your position every 20 minutes

these records are kept for two years by law

Hey folks, Jason Hendler stepped too far over the line this time. Until he is banned from TP we need to let him, and his brethren in the troll community that racism is not acceptable. Can we just flag this vile troll and not respond to him? Every time you respond to something he says you are just giving him an ego stroke.

  44. Jason M. Hendler says:

    #19, dixie blood,

If you refer to these maps from wikipedia:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:African_language_families.svg

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Official_LanguagesMap-Africa.png

you will see that as both the Sahara and North African cultures move south, they displace the sub-Saharan cultures. China and India are also sticking their fingers into the contentious push south, which is why you have violence in Chad, Sudan, Ethopia, Somalia. At this crossroads of North African, Asian and sub-Saharan cultures, there also happens to be petroleum – oil, natural gas, etc. (CIA had a much better map, but can’t find it on google anymore.) Africa is the manifest destiny of North African muslims, Chinese and Indians. Meanwhile, sub-Saharan Africans engage in war / genocide, and suffer decimating diseases (AIDS at 20 million, expected to go to 100 million in a few generations – there are only an estimated 800 million Negroids in all of Africa).

Given all this, I project that North African muslims, Chinese and Indians will displace the indiginous peoples of sub-Saharan Africa, as these pressures will not allow sub-Saharan cultures to stablize and thrive.

This is not racist, just extrapolating on current and past events, to project the likely developments in Africa. Note that North African muslims, Chinese and Indians are not “white” (although Arabs and Indians are Caucasoid, they are different ethnicities).

    #52, Lefty Patriot,

The prediction that I repeated above I made at least 2 years ago, and the article regarding African paternalism was written recently. Sadly, it appears that little has changed. China is still backing the Sudanese government through Chinese state controlled oil companies, in spite of Sudan’s slaughter of people in Darfur – it’s China’s manifest destiny to do so.

Please tell me where I am wrong.

This is yet MORE proof that We, the People, have been and continue to be spied upon and monitored by King George Dubya and his band of merry thugs! When is ANYONE going to stand up for us and say NO MORE? Why is it when the Neocons moan and despair over the lapsing of the warrantless wiretap program that NO ONE stands up and screams about how this program began WAY before 9/11!! WHY were we being spied upon just as soon as George Dubya got his filthy, dirty hands on the White House? We, the People, certainly don’t seem to be getting anywhere by protesting, writing letters, signing petitions, etc. Yet the pundits keep saying that until the American people start making some noise, nothing will change!! We KEEP making as much noise as we can! The problem is NOBODY will listen to us! Government by the People and for the People? Yeah…right!!

The problem is the small number of people making the noise. Responding to a poll and being unhappy with a situation doesn’t qualify as making noise. Of the total population, most people complain but never contact their reps. Multiple contacts from the same few people are unlikely move reps.

  62. zuch says:

I’ve got a little more commentary here. This kind of stuff happens … and I got the feeling that someone was asking for more than they deserved as well.
