True, but then it’s only a matter of time before the Republicans begin pointing out Bill Clinton’s notoriously quick temper. Personally, I’d rather leave the character game to the Republicans and focus instead on McCain’s policy flaws.

Unfortunately, Alan Colmes did not bother to challenge Corker’s assertion that McCain is an “American hero”, unless Corker is implying that it is somehow heroic for McCain to have bombed Vietnamese civilians when McCain was a pilot during the Vietnam conflict. Is Corker not somehow aware that bombing civilians during war time is strictly forbidden under the Geneva Conventions? Or perhaps it is Corker’s belief that international law and treaties do not somehow apply to members of the United States military. American Exceptionalism at its finest [or worst].
