Obama’s Pakistan position endorsed by Bush in ‘06.
In a segment today about Sen. John McCain’s misleading attacks on Sen. Barack Obama’s (D-IL) willigness to act against al Qaeda in Pakistan, CNN notes that President Bush took the same position as Obama in a 2006 interview with Wolf Blitzer. “Absolutely,” said Bush when asked if he “would give the order” to “kill or capture” al Qaeda leaders in Pakistan, even if the Pakistani government objected. Watch it:
CNN doesn’t note, however, that in a Feb. 10 interview with Fox News Sunday, Bush contradicted his ‘06 comments by making the same misleading attack on Obama. “[H]e’s going to attack Pakistan,” Bush said of Obama.

That’s the way it is with pathological liars. They lie and then lie to cover that lie….until the mountain of lies cannot be remembered and they avalanched by it all. Bush is in a freefalling avalanche.

Bush is the most reviled person in this country right now and is toxic to anyone he supports. He’s our national disgrace and US pariah. He’s tanking McCain’s campaign each time he appears with him or supports him. Good - I hope he does. He doesn’t have enough sense to come in out of the rain and will stubbornly stand there while being pelted like a flaming fool.

McCain lacks the otherside of the coin when it comes to experience, knowledge. If he can’t get some simple fact straight about statements made by one of his opponents what does that say about an international opponent?

Honest question, would really like an honest answer. If McCain wins the nomination, regardless of who wins the dem side, what will you do on election day? I hear a LOT of republicans trashing McCain all the time, but in the end, I honestly believe they will still vote for him.

February 20th, 2008 at 8:18 pmI saw a snippet of McCain’s criticism. It seemed to me that he was criticizing Obama’s ANNOUNCING his intentions…not the intentions themselves( ie. bombing a soverieign country ..Pakistan.. to get a terrorist without securing that country’s OK)
The US did take out a terrorist with a drone spyplane in Pakistan without permission.
Bush did ANNOUNCE such a scenario on CNN.
So either way, Obama has his position endorsed by reality.
