According to the Doctrine, there’s still hope for you and that skin color. If you convert and live the life of a good Mormon, that skin color will change over a few generations and become “white and wholesome”.

It’s ironic to hear a Mormon whine about prejudice. I grew up as one of the few non-Mormons in a small town and prejudice was the name of the game. I got used to my status of one of the spawn of Satan.

But it’s really not just for lilysmom, it’s that there are still a few rank and file ‘liberal’ Republicans knocking around who must have to suspend all reality whenever they cast a vote.

I mean no disrespect here, I knew many R-Rs from years ago. Most were dragged off to the darkside, but a few never changed and still vote Republican, always complaining that they have to hold their noses when they vote.

I suppose some of it is tribal.

When did Obama invade iraq? When did he support the invasion? Romney is all for it, but refuses to shame his cpwardly brood into fighting for the repig cause. he’s a shameless, empty war pig, and will be laughed out of the race, again. You know very well that Obama has never served in the military, and you are using his lack of service as some kind of rebuttal against as accusation that Romney’s children aren’t signing up.

Your point appears to be that if you condemn one man for not volunteering, then you must condemn all men for not volunteering.

Wrong.

What we do is condemn chickenhawks for not enlisting. Or for not encouraging their children to enlist. Romney is an unapologetic supporter of the war in Iraq, even though he skated out of Vietnam duty on deferments. His children have never served, either. Which is fine — there’s no obligation to serve, and his children have not gone on public record as supporting the war. But Romney made his children’s service an issue when he claimed that they were “serving their country” by helping him campaign — as if that even BEGINS to be on the same level as volunteering to get killed (and that’s why we make fun of his children and their “service”, if you must know — not because we have anything personal against his kids).

Meanwhile, Obama never did any draft-dodging — by the time he came of draft age, there was no longer a draft. Furthermore, we weren’t at war with anyone at the time. But most important, he did NOT support the invasion of Iraq, and has been a voice against our Iraq policy. A chickenhawk he ain’t.

That sucks. Sorry. I guess everyone is just prejudice. I really think its getting better though. I just want to go on record as saying that Mitt Romney doesn’t represent all Mormons. I think it doesn’t matter what republican gets nominated, they won’t get elected. And if they do, it will just make Jesus come back sooner anyway. On second thought, maybe I will vote republican in order to speed up the second coming so we can purify all you Lamanites sooner. You’d like that, right? Well, you might not think you would, but trust me, you would. I know what’s best for you because I am white and male and Mormon.
