They just don’t seem to realize, or care, that the American people aren’t buying this bullshit anymore. We are ready for REAL change. The people demand it, starting with change in the media, specifically, in terms of ownership and access.

How many politicians have been killed in Iraq since Iraq reclaimed its “sovereignty”? How many politicians have been killed here in America during the same time period? I think you’ll find a discrepancy between these figures.

Republicans would have us believe that discussions, votes not going their way, pro forma sessions, or filibusters are in some way analogous to the violence which is raging in Iraq. It reminds me of Mitt Romney comparing his sons’ “service” to his campaign to the sacrifices made my American soldiers in service to their country. There is no comparison.
