Let me put this out there as a simple crime.

Any persons who swear to uphold the Constitution, as these folks under investigation did, and willingly trample all over it under cloak and night are STEALING their salary! They need to testify even if Congress politely asks them without a subpoena, they’re paid to be truthful and open (in theory).

Mukasey as well.

Its called NHERENT CONTEMPT! They can bypass DoJ and Mukasey. They have a mechanism already in place to force Miers and Bolton to testify. Why won’t they use it, instead of wasting time and taxpayers’ money filing lawsuits that also will not work (beings Bush has a lock on the judges..).

Well once again progressive blogs have been proven right and the wisdom of Congressional Democrats proven wrong. In the hinterlands everyone recognized that Mukasey was nothing more than a Republican yes man, committed to the Unitary President. Schummer felt otherwise. Now we know who was right.
