If our enemy is al Qaeda, then why did we invade and occupy Iraq? Oh yeah, I remember now: it has the world’s second (or first) largest OIL reserves. Now that oil has gone from $20 a barrel under B. Clinton to $103 today, the reserves of the west’s top five oil corps is worth $2.2 Trillion!

Notice how everyone fighting us today is “al Qaeda” even when they are not? Sixty-one percent of Iraqis agree with attacks on our troops. Are 61% of Iraqis al Qaeda? There wasn’t any al Qaeda in Iraq before our illegal invasion and occupation based on 935 lies.

Hey McCain, go on Democracy Now. If you are afraid of Amy Goodman, how you gonna stand up to al Qaeda?

After reading through all of these posts – I have only one thing to add – My dad is a conservative republican – mom’s a democrat – and dad is going to vote for Obama (as is mom). My parents are going to be 74 yrs old this year – love ‘em both, and dad has finally seen reality…:) Of course, I’m an Obama supporter.

What the VaVoter fails to understand is that Obama gets slammed by Fox for saying that he would meet with world leaders (unpopular with the current administration) AND he gets slammed by Fox for refusing to appear on Fox.
Sounds like a no-win situation to me, and the best way to win a no-win situation is to avoid it in the first place.
