This a time of war enashmi, he should be poring over battle plans and hunkering down with four star generals working on ways to get out of Iraq and winning the war on terror elsewhere.

Its also a foreign relations prop where he takes leaders to establish relationships with as part of his foreign policy tactics. He does work while he is there.

I don’t like Bush’s policies any more than the next guy but chastising him for working at the ranch has no merit.

You’re under the impression that the ranch is actually Bush’s home. It’s merely a public relations prop — much like Fred Thompson’s campaign red pickup truck.

Think about it. When have you ever heard of a ranch that produced absolutely nothing except brush to clear? And this seems to be the only thing that Bush does when he goes there. Other presidents have ridden horses, sailed boats, gone skiing, etc. on their vacations — Dubya clears brush.

The Bush machine would like you to believe that this is an old homestead, but in reality he bought it in 1999 — just before his presidential run.

I predict that once he leaves the White House and no longer has to put on a folksy “good ole boy” image, the ranch will be sold.

Yup, the Vacation-in-Chief let this country go to pot yet 452 days of it were spent very well for George.

Was he working feverishly clearing brush to finally find those non-existent WMD’s he and his whole godawful administration lied about ?

Worst and most hated pResident of all time. May he rot in hell, the hell of his own making.
