I just want McBush to continue adding more & more LobbyBuddies to his campaign management. What fun to hammer St. John w/adverts about it & Obama continually pointing out how it fits into the equation of McBush= More Bush.

Would the Pres. McBush cabinet be filled w/LobbyBuddies? All that “being beholden to” & gratitude to his pals has to go somewhere…

You liberals make me sick. McCain understands that there are two kinds of truth. First, their is the truth for the “people” who have neither the intellect, wealth or values to make decisions on their own. They must be given simple, distilled truth. Republicans are moral, Democrats are filth. The “people” have already shown great capacity to accept all those things that have gone wrong domestically, economically and internationally as their fault. The second truth is for the ELITE who obviously deserve to run the country for no other reason than their success and wealth.

It worked so well for Bush&Co to appoint coporate leaders in the field to important positions in government so that they could better divert funds to their entities at the expense of the taxpaying citizens. McCain is getting a jumpstart with his campaign army of lobbyists so he can continue the process.

I think toasterhead has it right – McCain is not exactly “beholden” to lobbyists if they’re on his payroll. It’s just more of his “straight talk.” (i.e. double-speak)
A McCain presidency will be another step into oligarchy, the path to which was begun under Reagan.

Normally lobbyists are the ones giving money to the politicians. It doesn’t count as “beholden” if he’s the one paying them. It’s subtle politispeak, you see…
