Freedom’s Watch president resigns.
Brad Blakeman, president of the right-wing advocacy group Freedom’s Watch, will resign his position today “amid infighting among the group’s leadership.” According to the National Journal’s Peter Stone, critics said Blakeman neglected “major projects since the group sponsored a $15 million television ad campaign in 2007 to promote the Iraq war surge.” Blakeman previously served in the Bush administration.

My family will be using ours to pay bills and buy gasoline for our one car. I’m curious to know how many people are going to use theirs any differently for an electronics purchase or some such. I have a feeling most of us will not be spending the way the Pres. thinks we will.

March 7th, 2008 at 2:48 pmI’m spending my “windfall” on paying off some medical bills I incurred when I started a new job and my new health insurance would not pay any bills until 6 months after I started on my policy. Why you ask? Because I have a “pre-existing” condition. All I get for this “condition” is monthly medication. But, Blue Cross collected 6 months of my employer’s contributions and gave me zero benefits. Nice little scam they have going there.

I totally agree. After the conventions, when McCain is in a debate with the Democratic candidate on national tv, when he totally loses it, there goes his WH bid on the spot. Poof!!! Up in smoke. When America sees that, there is NO way they vote for him (except the 19 % reichwing-nuts)
