mcgigi refuses to be honest. You avocate treating her with respect when you know, or should know, that she will not respond in kind. No one, that I know has asked Keltoi why his kids aren’t fighting in Iraq, not because he doesn’t support the bush adminstration, but because he operates in the world of logic and fact (to the extent that we all do). mcgigi, on the other hand does not. she deserves nothing but contempt and ridicule, and to the extent that her children are dragged into this, ask Chleslia how she felt being the punch line for mccrazy’s joke.

all we know about gg is what she tells us and, given her record of prevarication, how can we trust that?

what we do know for sure about her is that she never comments about “pastor” hagee or the rncc fund raising scandal.

Exactly. A fair question to good_golly (and everybody else who supports our insane occupation over there) would be “If your son/daughter was on the front lines of this war, would you support it? Do you think this cause is worth the life of a child of yours?”

Then we can see if they can honestly say, “yes — if my child chose to enlist in the military and was sent to fight this war, I would still support it.” Better yet, let’s see if they would support reinstating the draft (which we really need if we are going to make a practice of fighting stupid wars), knowing it could reach their child. These are fair issues to pin them down on.

It’s awfully damn easy to wave the flag and shout ‘bring it on’ if someone else has to do the dying.

Every time some POS like GiGi, Frankie, et al posts some crap about the war, I want to frag the phucker.

Notice how nicely we can disagree with each other here. MissHusseinMolly made her point, several of us responded, no strawmen, no clinton did it, no inflammatory diversions. If any of you would like to have a serious discussion, try this. It works.
