To finish educating the troll who doesn't understand how the jobless rate is measured, here is a quote from the article in the SF Chronicle:

The unemployment rate actually dipped slightly from 4.9 percent to 4.8 percent, as 450,000 people left the labor force for any number of reasons. Economists thought many people probably gave up looking for work.

Apparently, following a simple link required more brain power than the troll can muster.

Also, from CNN:

The unemployment rate fell because of an increase of 450,000 people whom the government no longer counts as being part of the labor force for a variety of factors, such as that they are not currently looking for work. That drop in the size of the labor force allowed for he modest decline in unemployment, even as the household survey showed 255,000 fewer Americans with jobs than in January.
Job losses: Worst in 5 years

I see your point of view and that's where we disagree. The problem is you can't see beyond your's because you still haven't acknowledged that what she is doing is damaging it will play into the hands of the repugs, it's not her supporters that are the concern, they will support Obama should she not get the nom if they are really Dems. But some of here supporters are not supporting her because they want here to win the General. i.e. Texas. They only want her to win because they know she will be easier to beat in Nov.

Where as Barrack has supporters that have crossed over or become indy and they will not vote for her.

Ed Rendell is supporting Clinton In PA.
In the 2004 primary election, Rendell supported Sen. Joe Lieberman. The Connecticut senator who is anathema to Democrats now was Rendell's pick in the primary.

The only “Hillary supporters” who are being treated like the enemy are those that support her scorched earth policies. That will bring down the Democratic party.

Comment by Bilbo Hussein Baggins

Bilbo, I agree with you but this doen't help.....it sounds a little over the top. The democratic party is in no danger of destruction from Hillary's bad judgement alone. I only mention it because it puts other valid points of yours on the same level......thus diminishing them.

It is in danger if it doesn't start listening to it's constituants instead of using it as a way to line their pockets and represent special interests groups against the good of the American people because I do think the Democrats in America are tired of that.

I was told that statistically, once my unemployment ran out, I was no longer “unemployed” as far as the state was concerned.

Many people do not know that Miss Molly - it's good to point that out at any given opportunity -- particularly when Bush&Co claim that unemployment is goind down!

Bilbo and RRRW, regarding Ohio voters who were duped by a lie about Obama and NAFTA --
I know I won't be politically correct in saying this, but the typical over 50 year old midwestern white voter, with no more than a high school education, working in a blue collar job, living in a blue collar/rural community are often as prejudiced as the fictional Archie Bunker. The lie that was fed to them hit them squarely on target - they needed a legitimate reason to vote their latent racism, and this was it.
Most of America is leaving the racism of the past behind, but it is still a strong presence in some white communities.

Fred’s last comment speaks of the rationality I support. Hillary has a lot of support which cannot be ignored and should not be treated like the enemy.
Comment by dim wit

The only "Hillary supporters" who are being treated like the enemy are those that support her scorched earth policies. That will bring down the Democratic party. I'm sorry, but I can't admire people who support someone who would rather bring down her party than admit defeat.

Get the message. Obama doesn’t want to be associated with the type of slanderous attacks on Hillary the two of you support.
Comment by dim wit

Excuse me, but would you like to quote any "slanderous attacks on Hillary" that I have ever supported. Unless you consider it a "slanderous attack" to point out that she is praising McCain daily while dissing Obama. Or is it a "slanderous attack" to point out that she had an advertisement on her website where she darkened Obama's skin. Or was it a "slanderous attack" when we pointed out that she lied about Obama's involvement in the NAFTA/Canada affair when it turns out that SHE was the one who did what she accused Obama of doing.

If you think any of those truths are "slanderous attacks", there is no hope for you. You truly are a dim wit.

The only “Hillary supporters” who are being treated like the enemy are those that support her scorched earth policies. That will bring down the Democratic party. I’m sorry, but I can’t admire people who support someone who would rather bring down her party than admit defeat.

Get the message. Obama doesn’t want to be associated with the type of slanderous attacks on Hillary the two of you support.
Comment by dim wit

Excuse me, but would you like to quote any “slanderous attacks on Hillary” that I have ever supported. Unless you consider it a “slanderous attack” to point out that she is praising McCain daily while dissing Obama. Or is it a “slanderous attack” to point out that she had an advertisement on her website where she darkened Obama’s skin. Or was it a “slanderous attack” when we pointed out that she lied about Obama’s involvement in the NAFTA/Canada affair when it turns out that SHE was the one who did what she accused Obama of doing.

If you think any of those truths are “slanderous attacks”, there is no hope for you. You truly are a dim wit.

I'm staring to think your screen name wasn't an accident.

Rabid? I've been called worse by more important people.

What part of Hillary's praising McInsane while tearing Down Obama are you ok with? How is it that you fail to understand that Fearmongering is bad regardless of which party is doing it?

What part of repugs supporting her in the primary when they won't support her in the general is hard for you to grasp?.

As for your next post We aren't suggesting that Obama should stoop to her level it's her stooping to her level that we have and you apparently do not have a problem with. I'm glad that his advisor stepped down. When is Hillary's advisor who compared Obama to Starr going to? I'm also hopeful that his current advisor who thinks telecom immunity is a good idea will also step down.

Talk about putting words into ones mouth, it's Hillary's campaign that is trying to divide here and I like the people of Chi town will be happy to include Hillary's supporters when the stop supporting her "at any cost approach.

Radical Right,

you and bilbo are rabid. I live here in the Chicago area - a hotbed of Obama support - and I can say I am proud the Barack supporters here are much more inclusive (and far less devisive) than the two of you.

Fred's last comment speaks of the rationality I support. Hillary has a lot of support which cannot be ignored and should not be treated like the enemy.

She can ONLY win by undermining the will of the people (read super delegates)! Her negative campaigning is bringing all the hope crashing down around us.

I'm hoping for Obama too but how do we explain the support she obviously has in the country......this thing is pretty close so what do you think those people are thinking that don't agree with us?

Hillary Clinton should be so proud. She is getting a lot of Republican help these days and it doesn’t seem to bother her a bit. She was fine with the Republicans crossing over and giving her Texas. Yet if they had done that for Obama, she would be screaming bloody murder.

Comment by Bilbo Hussein Baggins — March 7, 2008 @ 12:47 pm

You're right Bilbo, what her supoporters fail to realize is that there are some Rep.s that have crossed over or gone indy. for Obama because they want change and this is one of the biggest indicators that he can unite this country. While her Repug support comes from the Limpball loonie fringe and they are only supporting her to get her to the Nominiation so that they can defeat her.

Its not an argument. Its a comment. Probably a pretty accurate comment at that.

You're right. That wasn't an argument and it is far from a "pretty accurate comment at that" The Repugs and RedStaters are absolutely salivating at the thought of a clinton candidacy. They know she will be much easier to defeat than Obama. And she's helping them do it by praising McInsane.

I noticed you decided to ignore the fact you were putting comments in my mouth. Apparently when you shovel the bullshit, false comments its okay. If you want to talk about the need to clean house, you might start with your own.

You noticed wrong. I acknowledged that It wasn't you that Brought up Crist, I did. The only Bullshit being shovled is by you and your lack of understanding that I was comparing your support of clinton, by way of not condemming her reprehensible behavior, to the repugs support of her a la Crist and the Repugs who vote for her in the open primarys as a way of getting her to the Nomination.

Again, Why are the Repugs so eager to support her?
