Bushies for McCain.

Bushies for McCain.»

The Politico reports that several of President Bush’s former advisers are now “informally advising” Sen. John McCain (R-AZ):

Ken Mehlman, who ran Bush’s 2004 campaign, is now serving as an unpaid, outside adviser to the Arizona Republican. Karl Rove, the president’s top political hand since his Texas days, recently gave money to McCain and soon after had a private conversation with the senator. A top McCain adviser said both Mehlman and Rove are now informally advising the campaign. Rove refused to detail his conversation with McCain.

The list could grow longer. Dan Bartlett, formerly a top aide in the Bush White House, and Sara Taylor, the erstwhile Bush political adviser, said they are eager to provide any assistance and advice possible to McCain.

McCain has also lined up several of Bush’s top fundraisers in recent weeks. “[McCain] has sided himself so closely to the administration, especially on Iraq, now having various Bush advisers — that doesn’t sit well with the public,” said Matt Dowd, Bush’s chief strategist in 2004. “The public wants the non-Bush candidate.”

McStain is worse that Bush, far worse. he knows what he is doing, and hasn’t the excuse of being a mental midget, or a sociopath. He will stop at nothing to destroy the USA.

Well, it’s not like there’s a conflict of interest, if that’s what you’re suggesting.

The proper euphemism is ‘Fair and Balanced’ when describing unethical partisan tabloid news.

Yes, it is unethical, which is considered a good thing among Republicans. You win by being unethical, and winning is the only important thing when you have an ethics-free value system.

  9. Aanya Says:

so………if you want more Bush, a fifth Bush term, McCain is your man! This just couldn’t stink worse! McCain is such a nasty, un-cooperative, stubborn old fart, somehow I don’t believe the Bush machine has found the right “puppet”! McCain has a past that is going to rise to the surface that can only be compared to an overflowing cesspool! What a combination thiis group is going to make!

Another four years of a republican in charge will be the nail in the coffin for this country economically, as well as whatever good reputation we still have left in the world.

However, the same dipsh*ts who voted Skippy McAWOL into office the last two elections don’t care. As long as the fat televangelist on the television promises that McCain will get rid of homosexuals, these fcuktards will put McJowls in the White House.

did you say Unethical? when did that ever stop FAUX news or the RePUGlican Party. Other stations will usually tell you up front that someone works for a canadate, but I have never seen this on FAUX.

Those redstate dipsh*ts are so ignorant they don’t even realize that the “get rid of of homosexuals” strategy was devised by closet queens like Ken Mehlman and Karl Rove.

  16. Tired of being lied to Says:

Among the many reasons for keeping McCain out of the White House, this is perhaps the most dangerous - all of the arrogant, self-serving, hawkish reich-wing nut cakes that have handled Bush for the past seven years are now taking root with McCain. There is no clearer writing on the wall that McCain will be nothing less than “Bush Redux” and we will sink further into the cesspool we presently find ourselves. Add this to a man who has a demonstrated temper and vindictiveness, may well be approaching senility, has accepted the endorsement of an Armageddon-baiter, and can’t say no to anything right-wing - well, God help us all.

    surely not…

  19. AngryOne Says:

While John McCain was only too eager to accept George W. Bush’s embrace at the White House Wednesday, eight years ago McCain told him to “take your hands off me.”

For the details of how John McCain suppressed his seething Bush hatred in his eternal quest for the presidency, see:
“McCain to Bush in 2000: ‘Take Your Hands Off Me.’”

  20. Oval12345678 aka James K. Sayre Says:

McCane/Hillary 08 sounds good to me.

McCane can pick up on Bush’s lifetime of torture and murder. GW started out by murdering frogs with firecrackers, then he branded frat brothers, moving on, he rubber-stamped hundreds of Texas executions and finally, he has murdered thousands of Americans with his lack of due diligence: nine-eleven: 3,000 Americans died because Bush made zero effort to stop these attacks; the flooding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, again Bush kept cutting funds for the levees and allowed more stupid development of the protective wetlands in southern Louisiana. The dumb war on Iraq (Obama called it the dumb war in Iraq) and the stupid war in Afghanistan: mismanaged by cheap-skate Bush who just couldn’t do anything to help the poor folks in Afghanistan to improve their lives. No, he’d rather be torturing, bombing, jailing and murdering Afghanis, that’s more his style.

Can McCane top this act of viciousness and vileness? Let’s not find out, thank you very much…

Other than his ethical lapses, tempermant, judgment, integrity, credibility, his pandering with shifting positions on issues, his amorality in his personal life, his age and health issues, and his lack of personality he is the perfect candidate

  33. rehbock Says:

Oh in my earlier postI forgot his ignorance on the economy, his lack of regard for the environment as possible problems for him this year. But with all 19% of the Bush supporters fawning over him he will certainly win. After all they have the voting machine franchise, they can launch a timely terrorist threat, and if all else fails the Supreme Court is sure to overturn any unfavorable result.

ps…speaking of geek tech stuff…Republic of Stupidity… I have that info for ya..

the UK hardware mag that mentioned the semi-autonomous robot that went berzerk on an american miltary base and killed 9 soldiers is called “PC Format” and the article was on the last page of the Jan 2008 issue, their website is http://www.pcformat.co.uk/
you might want to email them to see if they can provide you with any more info than the brief paragraph mentioning it..

  38. mary Says:

Chocolate Jesus - I couldn’t find the paragraph you refer to but did find this:

‘The South African National Defence Force “is probing whether a software glitch led to an antiaircraft cannon malfunction that killed nine soldiers and seriously injured 14 others during a shooting exercise on Friday.”‘

    http://blog.wired.com/ defense/ 2007/ 10/ robot-cannon-ki.html

    Is that a different incident?
