If Karl will let me schedule his agenda, I can send him to speak at a few hundred universities which will not treat him so kindly. I hope he does not go the way of Ken Lay. It is important that each of us continue in our soul development as much as possible. The only way for that to happen is if each of us faces our transgressions against humanity as soon as possible to avoid replication. For some reason, I seem to be more involved with Rove’s transgressions than my own. I wonder why that is?

For those who are lucky enough to ask Mr. Rove a question, please keep it factual and corner this snake. To show your anger to this man when you only have one question to ask isn’t going to dent this neocon.

Ask about the emails, ask about Plame and Wilson at every opportunity and keep it compaq armada m300 battery,compaq presario 300 battery factual. He’ll use every inflammed and emmotional question as proof of the looney left. Don’t give him the ammo.

Rove did not finish college, he is draft dodger and he is not particularly smart.
He is a mean, mean spirited person and no compulsion about lying and if can not get his way by lying he turns to belittling people, insulting them, and just dismissing them. ARROGANCE! Is all that he has going for him, just like Bush. Rove thought he was building a 1,000 year reign of Republican power and has, instead, destroyed the Republican party since there is no room for moderate conservatives anymore.
I used to be a Republican and the party has left me. I have not moved much, politically speaking, since Goldwater but the current Republicans show no fiscal conservatism and no social conservatism. Bush and his group of thieves are simply converting public money to private money as fast as the can while pretending to protect us from global terrorism-whatever that is.
Rove was confrontational right from the start and grinned and smirked with every little cut he made at people in the audience. He gave no straight answers and simply went through the Bush speaking points.
He even claimed that the Federal gov’t was ready to go to New Orleans hours after the eye passed NO and it was the local government that screwed up.
Blaming the victim.
People tried to asking questions but Rove did not engage into a discussion, rather he preached from his chair.
I was hoping to hear so insights into what and why the Bush administration did what they did but all anyone got was insults and the “bring it on” attitude. Like I said earlier, Rove seemed to be getting some perverse pleasure from working the crowd into a frenzy. The louder the boos the bigger the smile and he is suppose to be a public servant?
I was disappointed that he was paid 40K to simply reread his manifesto.

I am the person ridiculed as being “stupid and simple minded because while he was going on about Saddam having killed 500,000 the US has only killed 150,000 so I quipped “So you are better because you have killed less people than Saddam?” to which the quick wit of Rove became that of a five year old.
He did a lot of egging people on. It was almost as if he was trying to incite a riot. It was close when it the very being he said “You’ll have time for your stupid questions and comments.” while some were yelling at him.
Plus I got to came him a draft dodger which he tried to deny by saying “You don’t know why draft status” to which I responded “Sure do. It is on the web. You had a student deferment when you weren’t a student. Federal crime buddy!”
The only awe I felt was that of his arrogance and the ease with which he lied and made things up. Hard to hold a conversation when one side does nothing that is remotely related to this reality.

I think we could all learn alot by taking a deep breath of fresh air, and really feeling out our anger towards the US administration. On one hand I hear Americans talking about how bad the war is, and on the other how bad Iraq is. WTF? I just wonder why people can’t resolve those conflicts in their mind. Isn’t the law based on some rational concept? Don’t we have a duty to protect as well as to serve?

It sounds to me like the students did not appreciate the school’s choice to pay Karl Rove to speak. The man is obviously very smart. He didn’t manufacture a degree or fake his way into the White House. He may not have all the answers, but that may be because the students failed to ask the right questions.

Why did Karl Rove do what he did? Moreover, what exactly did he do? Do any of the students know. I don’t know what he did. I read this whole article and most of the comments and not even a mention of anything substantive. I appreciate a good political rant as much as the next guy, but I like to have alittle beef in my stew!

It’s one thing to have an opinion but a whole other ballgame altogether the way that you all live in total la la land as to the reality of the world. Rocks911 -We will have to agree to disagree. Have been a Dem since before Nixon…shunned by my own family for calling Nixon a liar spouting his secret for getting out of Veitnam. But, the political game has gotten so greedy and corrupt that the Dems have had to join just to play. Tell me you are not a little disappointed in their actions since 2006?
