Teddy Roosevelt, the guy that McMaverick falsely compared himself to, lobbied for the Grizzly Bear to be the symbol of our Country, and against the Bald Eagle, which he characterized as a scavenger. He also established the National Parks system that McMaverick would apparently just as soon use as a bombing range.

McMaverick is as dishonest and self-serving as a politician can come. If you can live through asus v6000 battery,asus v6000v battery torture, you can live through lying to the world without braking a sweat.

It’s OK to spend trillions in Iraq, but any money for science should be questioned, according to McCain, who doesn’t understand wildlife biology. DNA studies on populations of animals that are under stress (bears in Montana) are important. You must know the genetic relatedness between the different populations of a species, for management decisions. As populations of a species decline, inbreeding becomes one of the biggest threats to the survival of that species. This is money for basic science. The lack of understanding of basic science by the politicians, of both parties, is shameful.

This is amusing. We talk about everything except what really matters at a critical time in our nations’ economy. And, I for one think that maybe it is not so much the leaders of the country,or Polar Bears, or Grizzly Bears and as long as we have career politicians, we are going to have wasteful spending. Out of control gas prices are my chief concerns right now, and the media wants to entertain us with something that we have no control over anyway. Politics!We do, however, have some control on the prices of gasoline and if we worked together(Companies and Employers)we could bring the prices down considerably. We could go to a more productive 3 or 4 day work week. Wal-Mart uses this scheduling practice and proved that it increases production while using less work days in a week. Think about it! Gas prices are out of control and it is on the verg of Bankrupting us and we talk about things that are not important at this point and time. Wake Up Americans!

If you are oh so outraged about wasteful spending, I would expect you to post your thoughts (assuming you can muster at least one) in either or both those threads.

The story isn’t about any of the people you mentioned. I’m pretty sure none of them are proposing a continuation, and escalation, of Bushco’s foreign policy.

If TP should run a story about those people I will express my opinion, or not, as I see fit. I’ve always been willing to examine flaws in my logic and that of people who I may, or may not, support on general political principles.

But, you see, it’s not McCain’s political principles I object to. It’s his illogical support for a ridiculous foreign policy and his abject hypocrisies on ethical issues. Pursuing the endorsement of that (bleep!) Hagee sealed the deal.

John McCain’s lust for the Presidency has unbalanced him and rendered him unfit for office. When I see one of his opponents displaying behaviors which suggest a similar collapse, I’ll comment on them.
