South Carolina is a rather conservative state with a whole lotta Bush supporters there. Remember, this is the state that kept Strom Thurmond in the Senate past his sell-by date.

Graham is doing what he has to do to get re-elected. What’s going to be dangerous to McCain is if Graham’s campaign leaks beyond the state borders. Then a Bush-loving buddy might be the worst thing for McCain.

On the other hand, here in North Carolina we’re moving from red to purple. We’re the home of Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune — two places with a lot of families who are proud of their loved ones in uniform, but sick and tired of having them away from home for deployment after deployment.

Lindsey, Bush and all republican aren’t even grateful for the taxes that are in place so they can transfer the wealth to the well to do.

Most importantly, taxes made it possible for Bush to bail out his criminal buddies on wall street.

Do they ever give thanks to taxes?

You see, if the rich paid more taxes they would be supporting their ilk. The people shouldn’t get anything like say Health care for the tax dollars. The taxes need to be on the economic weak to pay for the cronies in the economic elite.

Got to put in place regulations to stop this………..

What’s Graham’s appeal to his constituents, in an future, overwhelming democratically-controlled Senate? He won’t be in a position to steer contracts, set agendas, or reward the po’ folks back home. It’s like electing a backseat driver.

What worries me is that a lot of Native Americans will support McCain and HIS supporters because McCain has been one of the few people in Congress who has been an unabashed supporter of Native issues. And there’s no doubt that he’s done good for Native people in his tenure.

But, as I try to tell my fellow Natives who are pro-McCain… it doesn’t matter if they give you fancy new clothes if you’re on the Titanic… you’re still getting wet with everyone else.
