TX councilman: Immigrant detention center is a ‘holding pen for wetbacks.’
A Texas local Fox News affiliate reports that “Mustang Ridge City Council member Charles Laws referred to a proposed immigrant detention center as a ‘holding pen for wetbacks’ on the March 12 meeting agenda.” Asked about his comments, Laws explained: “I’m 74 years old, and that’s what we called them when I was growing up. I don’t care about political crap.” But Laws later back-tracked, saying “I wasn’t thinking.” A city councilman from nearby Austin is leading a campaign to have Laws removed.

Fair enough…Because the right sides world is crashing down around them, all the stops are getting pulled out. We put way too much emphasis on the words of ‘religious’ types anyway. Somehow we think they are all pious and proper – but they are not. If someone must shout out their beliefs to me, then maybe their beliefs are not that strong to begin with.
Lets focus more on what the candidates are saying. Those words are the most important to our country.

Do they realize it costs the taxpayers more to have prisons for them rather than letting them get citizenship over 10 years? Or would they just not feed them?

It costs the taxpayers to house and feed them, but the corporations get slave labor from all these prisoners.
I always lacked the understanding of WHY they would want so many prisons and (I wish I could put my fingers on the link now) after reading about how corporations are raking in money for their private prisons, other corporations are getting cheaper than cheap labor.
Talk about the Nazi mindset.
Welcome to Amerika. We are no longer what we once were and the sooner the masses wake up to the fact that jobs are no longer jobs when prisoners can do them for a song and the benefits of being incarcerated, that everything that is being done in our name SIMPLY SUCKS, the sooner we might get onto a better path.

Now this city Councilman has no problem cashing the pay check he receives from those he uses hate against. I guess this is how Bush/Cheney got in office twice and McCain will follow. When a country is full of ignorant people they just don’t know any better and can’t think for themselves. Yes this is what Republicans call Christian Religious Values as they really are follow the word and action directed by Satan.
