Former Romney/NRCC aide joins Freedom’s Watch.

The Caucus reports:

forti4.jpg The conservative group, Freedom’s Watch, which has endured some prominent staff departures in recent months, announced today the hiring of Carl Forti, who was most recently political director for Mitt Romney’s presidential bid, to run the campaign’s issue advocacy campaign in the fall.

Prior to the Romney campaign, Mr. Forti was communications director at the National Republican Congressional Committee, where he oversaw the committee’s independent expenditures in 2004 and 2006.

Lowlights of Forti’s history here and here.

Looks more like one of those stupid thicknecks who played high school football then joined a fraternity and received a 2.6 GPA as a business major to me

Boy there’s just no end to these right-wing wlefare shelters is there? (Still waiting on Rumsfeld’s promised policy-shop).

    Gotta love the title:”Freedom’s Watch”!

Doesn’t that ititle imply that “Freedom” is under threat? ANd doesn’t that suggest that Bush and the neocon’s self-ascribed mission to promote “god’s gift of freedom” hasn’t worked-out?
And isn’t the same promoters of “Freedom” who have failed in their mission who are now claiming that they are the ONLY ones who can ‘defend’ it?

    And am I surprised?

    No,I am not.

Any leader from the NRCC should be radioactive at the moment. They have nearly $1 million missing courtesy of loose fingers in their accounting department. How would Mr. Forti play that if he were on the other side? It would be chum in the water for a political shark like Foti. He belongs at Freedom’s Watch. They haven’t weighed in yet on Pakistan, Burma or Tibet. I guess they just watch, just like NRCC governance did for over 5 years. Free Chris Ward!

Sorry, off topic. But interesting story that reminds me of the nuclear missles that got shipped off earlier this year “accidently” to another U.S. base. One would wonder what else has been shipped by accident…and where!

WASHINGTON — Instead of sending helicopter batteries, the United States shipped four electrical fuses for Minuteman nuclear missile warheads to Taiwan, a mistake that was discovered only last week — a year and a half after the erroneous shipment, Pentagon officials disclosed on Tuesday.

May Freedom Watch have a much success as the Romney campaign and the NRCC 2006 midterm election push.

The only real failure, for a righty, is the failure to continue kissing some rich guy’s ass or another in exchange for easy, oversized paychecks.

I’m no hermit survivalist, or grizzled mountain-man loner, but I could not ever bring myself to live every day the way people like that do.

Is “Freedom Watch” NeoCon BushSpeak for-”Watch our Freedom Disappear”?

Just saying, Clear Skys, Healthy Forest, Bringing them Democracy, etc.

this guy has the look of man whose grandma made him wear tinfoil diapers and toilet trained him at gunpoint.
