It is a very practical politician who avoids the so-called same gender marriage issue. bitblt expects the same politician would find it just as practical to ignore the abortion issue. Practices associated with death, homosexuality and abortion, simply do not put the candidate in the best light. bitblt thinks this is because of the implied message in these two issues.

Promoting same-same sexual relationships, which do not produce children, has the implied message that the future of the country isn’t important. This is the same message implied in the supporting the so-called right of a woman to choose to destroy her pre-born. The message is that the future for “…our Posterity…” is not even worth making. This would be the part about “…a nation worth preserving…” that bitblt has frequently mentions

How does one address the needs of our posterity when speaking about same-same gender marriage or about abortion?

In addition, the issue itself – so-called homosexual marriage – is essentially a non-issue. The number of people who are actually interested in seeing so called same-same marriage is miniscule. This opinion – which is what it is – is based on the below note of the number of homosexuals in the population. Further, the number of homosexuals who wish to enter a “marriage” relationship is also unknown.

Wouldn’t it be interesting to know about the number of so-called same-same marriages in the states that issue such licenses. Do you suppose the number of marriage licenses issued each year has gone down, has gone up, or has remained steady? One would think it would hold steady after an initial flurry of licenses. bitblt would bet that the number has gone down.

Please save your references to the Fourteenth Amendment for someone who actually believes that new rights are regularly discovered in this amendment.
