My example is: Beck defending WAL-MART; calling the Media and Citizens, Blackmailers and Terrorists. And today Gregory is trying to outdo Beck by exonerating Bush, how can I incite as many people as possible. Well he achieved his goal. They both have something in common, absolutely no shame…

1. A calculated delay to give him time to drum up and invent public support for an action against a oountry that had nothing to do with 9/11?

2. Was this a weak willed person who realized that Iraq was not the target immediately after 9/11 but was buldozed by his less intelligent advisers?

3. Did Bush really show great restraint when he pulled resources from Afghanistan and sent them to Iraq for an uneccessary war?

4. Did Bush really show great intellect when he rushed to war inspite of the fact that UN inspectors were on the ground saying that there were no WMD stashes or sites? Was this not really just evidence of a child who wanted to upset the board before everyone knew that he was losing?

Who would not have attacked Afghanistan. Bin Laden publicly took responsibility, the Taliban refused to surrender him or permit the US to get him, the entire world supported action and any idiot knew what needed to be done. That was the easy part. The hard part is long term judgment and the patience to finish the job and to really guage what the threats were. God, I may not agree with the invasion, but it should have been a cake walk. It took real stupity to assume flowers in the face of consistent State Department and DoD studies anticipating what happened. It took real stupidity not to see the need for a well planned and implemented rebuilding program after the problems observed in Afghanistan. The village idiot gets the simplest part right but screws up every single thing thereafter and we are to praise him?

He also forgets the reports of former Bush administration officials who say he planned to invade Iraq right after taking office. These same official (Mr. Clark and Sec. Paul O’Neal) both say he was obsessed with overthrowing Sadam. David apparently can’t get past the idea of a black man becoming President so he losses his mind and starts defending the worst President in American history. If David can’t use what brains he has then MCNBC needs to fire him.

This is worst that Bill Clinton saying: It depends on what the meaning of “is” is. I mean not even the liars in the Bush administration still try to sell us on the idea that Iraq had something to do with 9-11 except Cheney. The result has been identical , regardless of any time frame ; which is what most everyone with any viable brain matter inside their skull stated before our invasion of Iraq.
