We asked this question to his attorney: Will Karl Rove agree to testify if Congress issues a subpoena to him as part of an investigation into the Siegelman case? The answer we got — “Sure.”

Rove might just enjoy trying to outdo Gonzales testifying. Talk is cheap and convictions are rare, so whats to lose? Take the fifth, or claim national uniwill bat-243s1 battery,uniwill un243 battery security or most probably, not be able to recall. The “man behind the curtain” might just have a lot of fun making fools out of his questioners while reveling in the limelight.

I’ll testify if subpoenaed.

Then
Oh no, that piece of paper isn’t from the court but from Congress so its not what I meant.

Then
OK< I guess it is a subpoena but has it been cleared through the repub leadership ?

Then
Sorry, but that is in violation of executive priviledge.

couldn’t the last few of them just find a nice compound to move to, in a nice dry corner of TX, and hang around down there toe-tapping and hi-5ing, and chanting U-S-A, and leave the rest of the world alone for a change?

They would probably fit right in at that compound in Texas where they authorities just removed 401 children who were being held hostage.

Finally found out what the DOJ was up to. protecting Jeff Sessions. According to Gov. Siegelman Sessions had a hand in railroading him and the DOJ covered up Sessions participation.

I agree with Siegelman, Let him lie under oath or plead the 5th.

Either way it makes Rove look very bad and very guilty. Plus it has to come out more and in depth about Rove having Siegelman Spied on for 5 years. But I agree with Jackie I don’t think he will appear. He doesn’t have the backbone or the courage to do that. He is a spineless parasite.

Don’t buy a ticket to hear Rove’s testimony yet. The odds are Rove wont appear. Abrams is one smart lawyer. He got Rove’s lawyer to say he would appear now Karl will refuse his lawyers advice. Karl isn’t sure what evidence Siegleman has on him. Now if he did testify and lie under oath it’s all over and all the crimes he committed would be easy for him to be indicted.

I predict that Rove’s testimony, if it ever comes to happen, will be reported in the media in a he-said-she-said format, where Rove’s statements are taken at face value. No fact-checking on anything he might say.
